This spot near Patterson Park is a local favorite and has been in the same family since 1943. It’s unpretentious and good.
Another visit to the "mecca of pizza" in the city. My family and I went there last Saturday afternoon, on the spur of the moment. I got my usual, the two cheese 10" pizza and the girls shared a 10" white pizza (edited to include tomato sauce). Having been to Matthew's more than 20 times in the past 6+ years, the two cheese pie was not as flavorful as usual - maybe due to weather, timing, my taste... but it was good!
