The Pad Thai was gross. It's like they just dumped way too much fish sauce and soy sauce into it.
The rest of the food was mediocre.
The customer service was horrible, and the waitress acted like we were bothering her. She kept looking at her watch as we read the menu and tried to order.

Solid and fresh no complaints.
Very nice for choices of vegan entrees
The only issue I have, the customer service needs work. It doesn't feel so welcoming. Prices & food is great. I'll be back just for that reason alone.

Horrible customer service received from employee. I came in and the employee was very stand off ish and rude. She kept giving me side eyes and weird faces. I was very uncomfortable. Food is good but that one employee ruined my experience.

Everything was bland. My eel roll still had bones in it, could only taste the avocado. My gyoza, miso and shumai were all bland. I wouldn't order from here again.

If you’re into Japanese-style sushi, ramen, and Asian-inspired comfort food, Katana Sushi is a solid and flavorful choice in Baltimore’s Canton neighborhood. The restaurant offers a large sushi and sashimi selection, flavorful ramen bowls, teriyaki and rice dishes, plus appetizers and Asian-fusion sides — all in a casual yet comfortable setting that works for date night, family dinner, or a relaxed lunch.
What I enjoyed most is the variety and consistency — from spicy edamame and spicy ramen to creative sushi rolls and sushi & sashimi combos presented on a boat tray, there’s plenty to explore without feeling stuck on just one thing. The dining space feels laid-back and friendly, and plenty of reviews say the food is reasonably priced for the quality you get.
That said, experiences can vary a bit: some folks have praised the fresh fish and generous portions, while a few reviews mention that service isn’t always super engaging or consistent.
Overall: a good sushi and Japanese comfort food spot with a broad menu and relaxed atmosphere — great for trying a variety of dishes like ramen, rolls, and teriyaki without going too fancy.
