Chan's Beijing Express Reviews
Best Chinese food takeout, I found in Maryland at a reasonable price. Now this is how Chinese Food is supposed to taste!
Well first of all inside the store is really smokey and stinks of frying grease. The food itself as I imagined it would be was very greasey. The egg rolls were good but it seems as if they drained it for 2 secs and just threw it in the bag with a napkin. The fried rice was Soo greasey that the rice became sticky fried rice. Chan's Beijing Express is a local Chinese restaurant that offers a standard menu with slightly better than average prices. The atmosphere inside the restaurant has been described as smokey, with a smell of frying grease. While some dishes, like the egg rolls and shrimp and broccoli, received positive remarks, others were noted for their greasiness, particularly the fried rice, which became sticky.
The restaurant is praised for its quick service and friendly staff. Many customers appreciate the speed of food preparation and the proper packaging for takeout. Notably, the hot and sour soup has been highlighted as excellent, with plenty of ingredients like tofu and mushrooms. The General Tso chicken is noted for being fresh and primarily white meat, while the fried shrimp rice is described as good and flavorful. Overall, while the food quality may not be extraordinary, it serves as a reliable option for those who enjoy greasy Chinese takeout, making it a go-to spot for some in the area.
