Black Acre Roasters has been consistently excellent every single time I visit. The coffee is always top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor, and you can tell they truly care about quality. What really sets them apart, though, is the service—friendly, attentive, and dependable. It’s rare to find a spot that maintains this level of consistency, but Black Acre does it with ease. Whether it’s a quick morning stop or a relaxed afternoon visit, they always deliver a great experience. Highly recommend

Who would have known that an egg frittata with blueberry jam on a biscuit would be so DELICIOUS?! I came for the coffee but was delighted about that little sandwich. My coffee was excellent; I thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed to work for a little - the chairs and tables are not super conducive for staying long periods of time but I love the space generally, and think the building is super cool. They have a walk-up window too, which is nice. Oh, how could I forget the roastery?!!! I peeked through the window and thought the behind the scenes process was so dope! And the smell of freshly roasted coffee?! Cannot compare. Will certainly pop back here!

Lovely service and great coffee. I live in Baltimore county and come all the way down here sometimes just because I really like this coffee shop. My one ask is if the owner could please consider offering more year round speciality coffee options.

Stopped by this morning on my way to work for the first time and had a really great experience! I ordered the cold brew (marrakesh) with a little oat milk and the flavor was incredible. I was also picking up a Too Good To Go order, and my co workers and I really enjoyed the yummy pastries. Customer service was so friendly and had great vibes.

The barista answered all of my questions about the coffee. He also asked about the qualities that I like in my coffee, so that he prepared something that I would enjoy drinking.

Delicious and inclusive coffee shop with some pastries and teas as well. Loved the nitro cold brew and the croissant bagel!

Highly recommend! I really enjoy their specialty drinks, baked goods, and breakfast sammies. The owner and staff are all consistently friendly and provide great customer service. They have a window that opens at 8am before the indoor counter opens at 9am (when OpenWorks opens) which is great and it's nice to have the option to sit either indoors or outdoors while enjoying my food and coffee.
