Went to the National Aquarium with some friends and made a reservation for a large party after. We were sat on time, server was great and attentive, food was amazing and came out in a timely manner, and those drinking said the cocktails were wonderful. Couldn't ask for more for a first time experience. Wish I could remember the servers names so I could give him credit (reservation was for 11 at 4 on 4/20).
It was a nice atmosphere, and our service was excellent 👌. The flatbread was delicious 😋 the meal was great I give it 5 🤩 stars I was glad to tip my handsome waiter ♥️.
Lovely environment and waitress to serve us drinks . The buffet was sub par when it came to how meat was carved and constantly being depleted. My daughter and I received gristly and fatty prime rib, soup was cold and ham was too. Not worth the high cost.
Food was very good, short of the “jumbo” scallops. They were certainly not what I would even call large! Everything else came out done well and tasted fantastic. The chef really nailed my medium-rare steak frites. I call myself a beer snob and was disappointed in the fact that our waiter did not know the taps or offer a tap list. All in all, the restaurant was well appointed and quiet for a 530 on a Friday, esp Good Friday. I would return to this restaurant when back in Baltimore.
Was so loud being by a few large parties. Our food took over an hour to come to the table. Then one of our four in our group has a severe food allergy. We asked that their food be made without the allergen and it still came out to the table with it. It took almost a half hour to get the replacement one. Just not a great enjoyable evening.
Very beautiful restaurant excellent staff however the food was just ok - somewhat disappointing.
Food was terrible. Much of it was inedible and not eaten. Coffee was good. Service a little slow but nit terrible.
Super disappointed with our experience. Although our waitress was very sweet and polite, our food and appetizers came out at the same time. I requested To send it back while we are eating our appetizers. 3 minutes later another person showed up with our dinner. Then the manager came over to let me know they were bringing out the food so it didn't get dry under the heaters. So it was either let it get cold on our table or dried out under heaters. No option to make fresh meals. We were also there for a birthday. So we ordered a slice of cake with a candle and ice cream for dessert. Although the ice cream was very good, it was mostly melted when it came out. Cake never showed. Lastly the waitress commented that I didnt Let her know it was my son's birthday although I put it on my reservation request and told her as soon as we sat down. Speaking of the reservation I requested a booth and of course that was not an option either. After we paid the waitress asked us to wait a minute and she showed up with a slice of cheesecake and a candle which was sweet. Will never go back and would absolutely avoid as it was very expensive.
We went here for brunch on a Saturday. Excellent service and good atmosphere. Great fig and arugula salad. While some of the dishes were very good, some were just ok. E.g., the mahi mahi tacos seemed somewhat bland, and we found the waffle chewy.

Absolutely incredible. This was a great dining experience, and the server had a lot to do with it. I only regret I didn't remember his name. He was so knowledgable about the menu and wine list.

I was in Baltimore for a conference with my colleagues and we decided to check out The Blackwall Hitch since it was close by. I’m so glad we did! Noor, our server, was super friendly and really knew the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

September 2024, we chose the location in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Parking was $12 with validation across the street and no panhandle at the entrance. We had lunch/brunch. Very clean, fully staffed, and well-organized. Ate at the bar many O's fans. The restaurant had two levels and good food and ?, but the ? seemed store-bought. Overall, nice place to meet friends.

I ordered the shrimp and grits. What a huge disappointment. I was served about 3 tablespoons of grits. It looked like someone took portions of my meal and ate it. My husband questioned my portions of food, too. My dish was far more expensive than his meal. His meal was a full portion. It was quite a disappointment.

Today, I tried Blackwall Hitch. Construction work was ongoing today, which made it harder to park on the street, but we did find parking in the garage. Check with the hostess before leaving to get a $12.00 ticket for parking. It's better than paying $28.00. The restaurant is in Baltimore Harbor, so it is in a great location. A friendly hostess greeted us and we sat at the bar. I always chose to sit at the bar as opposed to waiting for a table. The bartender was very nice and was knowledgeable about the food selections. I went at lunchtime, and they served brunch until 3 p.m., possibly 4p.m. I started with the Caesar salad. I shared it with my husband, but you can get a smaller side salad option. Also, we had the crab dip, cheese burger, and wings. The cheese burger and fries were good. Now, for desert, I wanted the Carmel salted cake, and they were sold out at noon. I then chose the red velvet cake, and it was not good. It didn't have the authentic taste of a true velvet cake it tasted like the Sara Lee cake you purchased from a grocery store. My husband chose the blueberry cheese cake and it was much better than my cake. I am giving them 4.5 rating because they didn't have the dessert, which was listed on the menu.
