Stopped in on an evening of a predicted snowstorm. Several other establishments near by closed early. The service was excellent and our server’s recommendations were spot on! The Rockfish with crab was incredible. The cranberry bread pudding was outstanding. I highly recommend you check this place out. It was great!!!

My family and I were spending the day in Baltimore, from out of town. And I booked a reservation at this place based on their views. I was very very happy we chose this place, we came on a weekend around lunchtime. I was so happy that the menu offered a variety of dishes. We got lots of different dishes, and some items to share. And everything was delicious. The service was excellent! I also really liked the warm and friendly ambiance. There are a lot of restaurants in the Baltimore downtown area, and I would highly recommend this one.

Blackwell Hitch absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the moment we walked in, the experience felt warm, polished, and genuinely welcoming. The food was phenomenal — Curry mussels were outstanding.

What truly elevated the evening, though, was the incredible hospitality. Our hostess, Madison, was an absolute standout. She greeted us with such genuine warmth and professionalism, made the check-in process seamless, and set the tone for the entire visit. It’s rare to encounter someone who balances efficiency and friendliness so effortlessly — Madison did exactly that.

Between the outstanding service, inviting atmosphere, and top-tier food, Blackwell Hitch has easily earned a spot on my favorites list. Can’t wait to come back!

Great staff! Lachelle (and the other servers whose name has slipped my mind but starts with a K) were amazing! We were a big group and they were on it! Tre was a phenomenal host and we had them both two days ironically. 10/10 def recommend and those three elevated our experience. Kudos to Paul (district manager) and Chris (evening manager) for accommodating our large party especially on short notice.

Food dry, service lackluster. Kelly started out ok but I guess she was overwhelmed due to being short staffed. Bryant came from the rear & made things a little better. No asparagus, broccoli or WINGS! The Blackwall bayou was stingy with protein. The manager tried to make things right by offering drinks.

We were in town for a team sporting event at the convention ctr and our team dinner reservation fell through. We made last minute reservations for 20. They set us up in a private space but with the general menu and no minimums or services fees. Paul was wonderful to work with and checked on us prior to the event. Food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals. Very good seafood and burgers. Food came out accurate and together which almost never happens. Cool vibe inside with multi level dining and a great bar. Super close to everything Inner Harbor. Will be our only team dinner location from now on.

Our server was great and attentive. She made great suggestions. The food and starters were all good as well. I would revisit. It was a great night to celebrate a Birthday with another couple.

The restaurant was empty and very quiet. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. Despite the light number of diners, our server was not very attentive. She forgot my tea, which was the first item I ordered, and I had to remind her even after our meals had already been served. My granddaughter ordered fried chicken and waffles. The chicken wings were placed directly on top of the waffles, causing the waffles to absorb oil from the chicken, which made them unpleasant to eat. We requested a replacement waffle, but were charged an additional $8 for it. When I asked our server about the charge, she stated that the manager had added it. As a result, we ended up paying for food that was not prepared or presented satisfactorily. I would appreciate clarification on your policy regarding situations where food does not meet quality or presentation standards. Should the customer still be charged for a replacement under these circumstances? I look forward to your response.

Was led to believe a 10 pm NYE "Ring In The New Year" experience meant dinner nearest the Inner Harbor and Baltimore fireworks at midnight right on the water (the restaurant's Instagram post was a bit misleading). Instead, a phone call during the day indicated we were the LAST reservation of the evening and they were locking their doors at 10 pm, so we might want to get there earlier (so they could get us out earlier). We drove from Cleveland to do New Year's in Baltimore. This isn't what we expected. Don't take reservations up until close and keep your staff hostage waiting on the last couple of the evening. There were about 7 tables in the restaurant with the doors locked. Nothing NYE about the atmosphere at all. Not fair to the staff or us to squeeze another price fix menu sale into the tiller. My filet was disappointing (perhaps not even an actual filet cut--hard to tell when perched on a mountain of mashed potatoes and asparagus) and my wife's portion of seafood lasagna was good but enough to feed four people. Clearly whatever was left in the kitchen regarding the NYE menu was going in the dumpster at midnight. Don't advertise that you're offering chance to ring in The New Year when you're really offering an early dinner so people can make other plans for later in the evening. Stop taking reservations at 8 and give your staff an early evening evening off. They deserve it.

Food always good and very convenient for Soundstage. But they forgot soups and disappeared. Service friendly but not up to par and confused.
