This was our 1st time eating here and we enjoyed the Easter Bruch Buffet. We were late arriving for our reservation, but were seated promptly and the buffet time was extended. The food was delicious, there was a variety and something for every palate. We will be returning soon!

The table was too crowded for 7 people. One person had to eat on the corner of the table. The food was great but waiting in the buffet line was too long. The ambiance was fine until they turned the music up which made conversations difficult.

Easter brunch buffet not typically offered. It was good however some items ran out off often. But the wait for them was not to long. Our server was awesome very personable. I would return to try the menu service as I had never dined there before this Easter experience. Not sure if I would recommend this restaurant I have not had menu service yet.

It wasn't what I was expecting for Easter brunch at $56. There were only 3 petite fours on the buffet, the “fresh baked” bread was dry rolls and bagels, and the prime rib was served very fatty.

The Sunday brunch returned for the holidays. This was my first return since before the pandemic; it was disappointing. Clearly there is a new head chef since I was there last. The belgian waffles are not made to order, rather pre-made, placed out and they were rubbery. The fried chicken was fried really hard, they only offered wings and they were HUGE which says that they are plumped up with growth steroids and antibiotics. No natural chicken wing is that large! The Mac n cheese was bland, the jambalaya was salty, the bacon was swimming in grease. The experience was nothing like my previous experience under different mgmt. Lastly, they automatically added 18% gratuity and the server literally did NOTHING! She EVENTUALLY bought us water and the next time was to bring us the check. It was a buffet so there was no service to be had. I am highly disappointed and will take my holiday brunch experience elsewhere in the future.

An embarrassing Easter brunch. Very poor quality, poor service. We were very disappointed. For the cost, we expected better value, like better food, better quality, better food handling measures for the buffet (low hygienic/sanitary measures, i.e. no sneeze guards over food, service staff not wearing gloves, no clean tongs, spoons, etc. rotated periodically, trash dragged around the floor dripping dirty liquids in customer service areas -- so gross), better service (waiter spilling beverages on tables and no cleaning it up no apologies either). The place is more like a Chilis or TGIF with way overpriced food and bad service. Later in the week I found out they charged an additional $100, because I modified my reservation as we had to move it up one hour due to circumstances beyond our control (it was modified a few hours prior to the start over the phone, and I was assured no problem.) For 5 people, the total charge was $503...(non alcoholic beverages)....Oh and they automatically included the %18 gratuity. Easter was memorable for sure, thanks BH.

This was my first and it will be my ABSOLUTE LAST time going to Blackwall Hitch in Baltimore. The presentation was awful, not to mention the food was cold and uncovered BY CHOICE for convenience as I was told by the GM. To spend $225.37 in this restaurant was ridiculous on top of the fact that I had to go find the GM because he was “tied up” and had no time to handle my concern. The Arnold Palmer and water were the best things from brunch on top of the fact that there were items advertised on the menu that weren't seen on the buffet spread. We made small plates because we weren't pleased with the initial food selection and only ate half. We decided to give it another try and went back for different options and when we returned to the table our drinks and silverware were gone but not the dirty plates. I asked for the manager and the assistant was sent to relay messages. When I asked for the GM again I explained the situation myself and that I've been to the other restaurants I was also told by the GM that they were not affiliated with the other BWH or Lodge establishments. That location will NEVER get my money again. Upon reading the GM Paul's response to my initial message because I chose to give an honest account of my experience was told that he has decided to not honor the agreed upon refund because he said that he did not like the review I left “bashing” his restaurant. As a manager and business owner personal feelings are not part of the equation when a customer concern has been expressed. Due to HIS unprofessional response to the situation what once could have been resolved yesterday as he explained would be completed by the close of business, I now see that he had absolutely no intention on resolving it at all. He stated that it was unprofessional for me to leave an honest review and I could hear the anger in his voice as he spoke to me. I went 45 minutes to have an amazing experience with my family on Easter Sunday and our meal was a DISASTER.

Easter brunch had a good selection but I felt the flavor was missing. Most items we're bland and the dessert table took forever to be restocked. The prime rib and shrimp and grits were the exception. Both of these items were great.

My date and I were looking for a brunch spot. After our disastrous dinner at Philips Seafood the night before, we saw this spot.Very warm atmosphere to set the brunch mood. I had the chicken and waffles while my date had the avocado toast.Very delicious dishes. The chicken was tender with a nice crispy skin while the waffle and syrup was a sweet touch to it, which complements the chicken.Definitely check this spot out for brunch. Highly recommend

Cool decor and the food was fantastic. We were there for Sunday brunch and I had the Baltimore crab Benedict and it was super yummy.

The service was excellent, even with them being short staffed. Our server Nate was attentive and even brought my wife some sauce for her Trident Broil. We'll most likely be back for brunch in the future.

Really disappointed. Often go to the one in Alexandria. The rockfish was not inexpensive but had zero flavor- none!!! Our waiter, Dennis, was great, but even with extra sauce it just really was not good. Ambiance is like being in a cafeteria. Won't return.

This was my first time dining at Blackwell Hitch. Friends of mine have always had great things to say about it. We really enjoyed our dinner! The non alcoholic drink menu could use a little more work. These days more folks are looking for tasty mocktails! Would def return. I want to try the Brunch that I hear great things about!

Stopped in today for a burger and fries and a water . I was surprised at the price being $20. I've had better burgers for less. It wasn't bad by any means, but it just seemed pricey.
