Experience was cool, wish my waitress would have at least gave me a heads up on the $79 one crab cake that had more filling than crab. The smash burger was a vibe. Slightly disappointed with the price of the crab cake. Please keep in mind I have ate at other locations and at least got two crab cakes for the price of oneđ¤ˇđžââď¸
First time in the BLK swan and it was awesome Cam was our host and he definitely took care of my husband since it was his birthday, it's a good atmosphere and the food it's amazing we will be back for more and other dishes, the crab cake was really nice and moist not dry and those lamb chops ,OMG it's like that ok . Overall 10 plus another 10 stars
Tbh I was completely unimpressed. After booking the reservation that stated there would be a 6-9 happy hour. The host saying happy hour ended at 7 and giving no explanation or concern about it saying that when we booked our reservation. Having an attitude when we asked for a physical menu and then giving us the brunch menu even though we were there for dinner and the wrong drink menu as well. Not acknowledging that the reservation was booked for a birthday... Our server was nice but I think it's important to honor mistakes that you as a business make. Or at least have the manager address them. We were disappointed when we arrived for happy hour that no longer exists and went to order a drink it turns out you no longer have on your menu. Food took long and my burger was burnt. No acknowledgement of my birthday. very unimpressed. Our server was very nice and the music and ambience was nice and our drink that we did order was great but other than that I was disappointed.
Honestly, I was disappointed. Arrived right on time for my reservation and was seated immediately. Once seated the hostess asked to take my bottle of water lol. I politely declined and told her I was keeping my water; I'm sorry that request in itself is ridiculous. I had the French toast with chicken and the chicken had no taste or flavor. I'll chalk it up to a bad day because Blk Swan has been a fav of mine for years. Hopefully better next time.
I appreciate my servers and hosts for making my birthday a special moment!!! Though I had a larger party than expected they made great accommodations and provided awesome service!!
Visiting from out of town and wanted a place for brunch close to hotel. East Harbor a nice area that's easy to walk around with several choices of restaurants. Wait staff were very friendly and knowledgeable however we had to ask to have our water glasses filled, my cocktail arrived after food was served and the biscuit sandwich was served with bread instead of a biscuit. No one was around to notify and when server did arrive she agreed it should have been a biscuit. The staff did bring a biscuit later after I finished the sandwich and everyone was through with their meals.
A vibe a vibe a vibe. Great service. Food was great (pls try the marshmallow cornbread). Great for celebrations.
We went to celebrate my son's birthday. It was a great choice. The decor was lovely. Food was great! The wait staff was so attentive. They even did a big celebration for his birthday with sparkling lights and dessert. I will definitely go back!!!!
Amazing experience. The food was delicious. Service was great. No wait for me which was perfect.
Pros: The atmosphere is a vibe and the wait staff/bartenders were friendly. Music was good. Cons: service was extremely slow. Drinks were mediocre. The food was not as good I was expecting for the cost.

My wife and I went to Black Swan for dinner. Waiting to get seated was the shortest event of the evening, which only took about four or five mins. After being seated, we waited... Server came and took out drink orders, we waited... Drinks came, then we ordered an appetizer and entrees. My wife ordered the short ribs. They were overcooked, bland, and dry in the mouth, despite the sauce. The branzino I ordered fared better. It was flavorful with crispy edges, and the asparagus and rice complemented it nicely. We also chose the lobster mac & cheese. The lobster was deep fried, but filled with flavor. The mac was very cheesy, but had very little flavor of its own.
We chose the lemon breadpudding dessert as our appetizer. Why wait?! đ It was dense and semi-sweet; however, the lemon sauce and blackberry compote made it a winner, IMO. My wife was not impressed, but I thought they just needed to be a bit more generous on the lemon sauce. After all, it's billed as a LEMON-flavored dessert.
The decor is very nice, but I feel like their target demographic is the 25-40yo crowd. There's a house DJ playing club music the whole time. Oh, and they charge you an ENTERTAINMENT fee! I assume this is due to the DJ's presence.
In summary, the ambiance is nice, the service is sub-par, and the food is not good enough to make you overlook the high prices. The prices themselves are not exorbitant, but the quality of food you get is not on par with other establishments that serve the same cuisine. We probably won't return, mostly due to the level of service, but I won't discourage anyone else from giving them a try. Maybe we just came on a bad night.

I came to Baltimore from Atlanta and have been trying to get to BLK Swan all weekend. This morning I decided to start my birthday off with brunch at BLK Swan and they did not disappoint!
My bar server Nicole was phenomenal!! The food and drink (Mr. Forbes) were tasty and just what I needed to get my birthday off to a wonderful start. Thank you!
The only suggestion I have is for someone to help people getting into the heavy entrance door. I tried to open the door and thought it was locked. After checking other doors I decided to try again with a LOT more strength, only to notice two hostess standing there watching me struggle with opening the door instead of stepping in to help.

Blk Swan was amazing! The drinks were crafted to perfection, the food was absolutely delicious, and the ambience was simply gorgeousâstylish, vibrant, and inviting. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!
Overall this experience was lackluster. My first drink was smoking mirrors. The drink was nasty. We sent them both back because they tasted straight like NyQuil. Itâs like they brought us NyQuil with raspberries as decoration.
The chicken box was cool. Grannyâs used to sell an expensive chicken box so thatâs what I was expecting. They brought me chicken wingettes and French fries. For $26 Iâm beyond annoyed. Three whole wings no fries for $26 dollars would be acceptable. $26 whole wings with a few fries is worth $26. Donât get on my nerves with wingettes for $26. Highway robbery. I didnât complain about the wings.
My replacement drink was the Mr. Forbes which is an expresso martini. Honestly I thought it was delicious. My cousin sent hers back she didnât like it. I couldâve ordered a second one but I didnât come to drink alone.
I got the shrimp and grits. This was a low 3/10. The food was not great. It came with 2 shrimps and very little crab meat. However it was very mediocre. It was plated beautifully but the taste was missing.
My cousin got the seafood risotto. When they brought her the food she said sometimes I hate how seafood smells. Iâm like cousin itâs not supposed to smell like that. Everyone knows good seafood doesnât have a smell.
Lastly my server was so meh. I asked him for a water refill three times. We were seated for 13 mintues before he came to greet us. He did apologize for the wait but he would just keep apologizing the full night. I had to track him down when I was ready to pay because my ride was outside and I was ready to go.
The restaurant itself is decorated well overall. Iâd give the aesthetic a 7.5 out of 10. The location is also nice. I thought this place was going to give a grannyâs downtown vibe it does not! I would not recommend and I wonât be back. Shout out to the DJ because the music was on point. The music and decoration are all the restaurant offers.
Also this place says black owned but I donât think it is actually. The food isnât seasoned.

The food was very delicious, sides were very expensive for a couple pieces of asparagus and overpriced drinks in super small glasses.. For the amount of money I spent we should've gotten more.
