My visit to Charm Kitty Cafe was great! The space was very clean and comfortable. The cats were very relaxed, friendly, and full of love. There were lots of games and books available. Mellow music and a projected live stream of kittens made for perfect atmosphere. I hope to attend one of their events sometime.

I have been wanting to come here for a while. We made the trip out today and were there at 10AM when they opened. It wasn't busy and we were told by staff that's usually the best time to come. The visit was amazing and the cats are all very friendly. Joe, a very energetic and quirky cat was waiting for us at the door when we walked in and promptly jumped on the counter as I paid on entry. Some cats walked right up to me while others held back to make sure we were okay before approaching. We sat on the back couch and two brothers (Tink and Ash) came right over. The cats took a real liking to my husband and we applied to adopt today. I recommend this experience for anyone considering adopting in the future. It was a great way for us to see if we had any good matches without feeling pressure to decide today. Coffee was good (Zekes). Vegan sweets (I swear these kind are yummy even if your not vegan). The cats all have profiles when you walk in then there are folders with record information from the previous owners and time with the shelter. Vaccination info is provided as well as any health problems or concerns. It was a great experience. Definitely would recommend for kids but bring the kids early before the kitties are tired from socializing all day.

This is an adorable little cafe where you can spend a relaxing time interacting with kitties! There are lovely seating areas and play areas set up so the kitties can freely roam around. It has a very positive vibe. The coffee and tea and snacks are a very small part of the cafe. It's main attraction is the kitties who are available for adoption. It's a great place to spend an hour and support a wonderful cause!

We visited here last night for our anniversary. We checked in with no problems, the staff were super friendly, and the coffee was brought out right away. Our visit was awesome and we're sure to return. The cats are wonderful too.

As a former employee: Charm Kitty Cafe is a great concept and I'm grateful for another way to rescue these wonderful cats!! The owner, however, could care less about employees (promising promotions, then with no warning, demoting, pay differential that he had "no reason" for-despite employees having equal experience and equal availability). With his lack of presence, it's concerning that he is as caring as he'd like the public to think. He is a young, incompetent individual who clearly demonstrates ageism. With his mission of creating a safe space and positive environment, he has done so for guests. If you care about the employees who actually run the place, think twice about who you're supporting. The cats are amazing and would never say anything against rescuing.

We had an amazing time and I can't wait to go back. I took my mother and sister in early October. We did have an issue because when I signed up for a time slot I also purchased drinks and a cookie but somehow the drinks did not get added. But the owner was really kind about this and allowed my sister and mother to get a drink. The drinks aren't really the point and aren't much but your typical mixed up powder and hot water. While they could do better with drinks there is limited space and the focus should be on the cats. So, if you're looking for more of the Cafe element you're not going to find that and you should just go to a Starbucks and look at cats on your phone. If you're coming for the cats then perfect! The area is small and cozy with plenty of places for cats to sleep, cuddle, and play. There's a lot of seating and variety in seating including regular chairs at a table, benches, and giant beanbag style chairs. They always have a few cats and they have all the info on the dining room table. You get about an hour which sucks because obviously you want to spend forever there but that's okay!!! The staff is really nice. The cats are amazing always. I suggest following their various social media accounts to see new cats because they go through cats pretty quickly. The cookies are also really cute. The location can be a little confusing to find especially if there's an event going on in any of the buildings there, which is what happened when we went. There's plenty of parking but the roads are like cobblestone so if you have issues with that please be aware. I'm incredibly happy to have a cat Cafe in Baltimore. They're doing so much to help cats and primarily all the cats are middle aged and some seniors. I have been following them since I first heard about their Kickstarter and to see all the kitties that have homes makes me so happy. Also there are plenty of special events like yoga and movie night so be sure to check that out!

Very cozy and inviting! Plenty of variety in the environment for the cats (cubes, a variety of furniture, beds, etc.) Staff were very friendly and helpful when I inquired about the cats, the cafe, and the adoption process. I took my mom here for her birthday and we loved all the kitties! I fell in love unexpectedly with the sweetest little guy) but that's always how it goes, right?) and couldn't have asked for a smoother and more thorough adoption experience.

Most INCREDIBLE place ever! Charm kitty is full of adorable cats (all ready for adoption btw) and the ambiance is cute, comfortable and relaxed. There's tons of places to sit and you can even buy snacks/drinks while you're at it. The owner of the cafe is extremely friendly and he can tell you everything about raising cats and the personality of all of them. I love the idea of a cat cafe where you can play with the cats before you adopt them. Reservations are recommended and it's a $10 cover to get in. However, for the amount of care the cats all receive, it's definitely worth it and a really fun/unique experience to come with your friends.

This place was such a good idea! I loved visiting the kitties and all of the cat-friendly furniture. The hot drinks are definitely a secondary feature to finding a friendly cat to hang out with, but they were pretty good. A larger selection of teas would be great, but it's not like I went there for that. The event nights are a great idea too, although I have not attended one yet.

So, say your gentleman tabby cat passed away a few months ago. Say you missed having a cat about, a soft feline friend to cuddle and play with. You need to get to Charm Kitty Cafe on Clipper Mill near Hampden. Two of us came here during the week to get a cookie, hot drink, and to play with 7 or 8 sweet adoptable cats. We had a great time people and cat watching-- perched on the comfy sofa in the back was the best spot. That's where we discovered Kiwi under a pillow. She hung out with us and let us pet her for a long time. This was super enjoyable on an otherwise dreary day in Baltimore. Be sure to make reservations online, this place books fast. Thanks Charm Kitty Cafe!

LOVE Charm Kitty! It's such a great addition to Baltimore. The cats are cute, the service is wonderful, and the refreshments are delicious. Everyone should take some time to check it out!

I'm a proud "cat person" and owner of Cher the cat - and I wanted to check out Charm Kitty Cafe to see what the hype was all about! They had about 9 cats that were adoptable - each with their own distinct personalities - as we know cats are known for. I had a blast! Cool setting, coffee and baked goods, cool merchandise (who doesn't want to show off Charm City + Cats??) and of course adorable fun cats! If you love cats (even if you don't want to admit it) - you should definitely check out this unique establishment!

It's a great experience to enjoy a lazy afternoon with those cute fluffy balls! My favorite cat, Harmony, is so funny with such a bang...

We came here for a photography class with the cats and the very knowledgeable Mandi. My teen is a budding photographer and lover of all animals, so this seemed right up his alley. First, while this is a cat CAFE, if you come here expecting baristas and lattes, this isn't the place. I have explained to others that this is a place to hang with cats, and cafe stuff comes second. They do have coffee and delicious treats, but that is not the selling point of the place. THE CATS, the cats are a fantastic mix of all personalities. I really felt like there was a cat for every kind of person there. Lazy cats, active playful cats, friendly cats, shy cats, etc. The wonderful staff here explained they get new cats whenever someone is adopted, which is quite often. Yes, you read that right, if you fall in love with a cat, you can bring him/ her home with you! I describe this as a place to curl up with a book or work on your computer with company of a furry feline. Or, if you're in a situation where you can't have a furry friend of your own, you can enjoy some purrs without the commitment.

This new cat cafe had me smitten with kittens. I was greeted by super friendly, knowledgeable, and caring staff members. You can tell they really love their jobs and treat the other staff members (the cats) really well. There are tons of toys, nooks and crannies for hiding out, and even little cat tunnels that lead to private dorms so that the cats can go get some shut eye when they're not playing with visitors. While I couldn't personally attend, I learned there were cool events almost every night of the week, like guided yoga classes with the cats, cat movie night, and game night. If I am in the area again, I will have to stop in for one of these. Other logistical info: They have a reservation system and seemed pretty busy when I was there, so be sure book ahead if you can. Luckily, they limit the occupancy at any given time, so that there is a good kitty to visitor ratio. There is a free parking lot that serves the cafe and surrounding shops. My only complaint is that they aren't open more hours of the day! As a remote worker, I would love to come in during the day and work alongside a furry sidekick. But there were hints that that may become an option soon.
