Hey there šš¾, I'm Ray and I have an opinion āš¾! The food here was really enjoyable. Endearing up spending my pre-birthday dinner here and it was a great choice. Not only was the food good but the atmosphere was a buzz. Sure people were to themselves, it's Baltimore, but everyone was in good spirits, conversing and having a good time. Service was good too, for the most part. I'd go again and would recommend.

We had a great experience at Clavel. Tim our waiter was extremely knowledgeable regarding the dishes and Mezcals they served. We will certainly be back. BTW while your waiting for your table walk down to WC Harlan for a cocktail while you wait. Definitely worth it if you like Speakeasy's.

The staff is very polite, attentive and were happy to answer questions about meal and their large beverage menu! The food was so good! The tacos and fish were tasty! I would definitely visit again!

For one, the concrete room is WAY too loud to be using as a part space. Multiple times had our watches alert us the volume was over 85Db in the space. I understand this is the room y'all use for parties, some cloth to help absorb the noise would do wonders.
Second, this place seems to run on the hype of good food, to the point of there always being a line at the door. They do not however prepare for this it seems, so the staff communicates poorly, rushes you to order drinks and then disappears. Appetizers did not come out close to together, and the main course felt like ages. Our parties food came out scatter over the course of 10 minutes, and our server had no clue where the missing entrees were when she showed up to check on us.
Showed up in line at 4:35, got our food at 6:40 finally left at 7.

Mehā¦food was good but service left a lot to be desired. We order appetizers and mainsā¦all arrived at the same time so the server had to put the mains off to the side getting cold. Then we ordered drinksā¦the second round did not arrive and we asked about them when we were down with dinner because thatās when the server came back. We finally got our drinks with the check. Food was ok and not great. You can definitely find an overall better experience elsewhere.

Clavel was awesome. Casual, cozy vibe with a lively, welcoming feel. The tacos and Mexican dishes were fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot. Drinks were solid, especially the cocktails. Service was friendly and attentive. Great spot for a relaxed night out with tasty food.

Excellent dining experience! The wait staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Amazing drinks and delicious food with reasonable prices considering the quality. Casual and hip ambiance. There are extensive GLUTEN FREE options with extra care in preparation taken by the kitchen. We arrived right at opening time because we'd heard about the lines and we were seated within minutes. Take advantage of the Happy Hour pricing on margs and queso fundido.

Foodās phenomenal, drinks are delectable, and the atmosphere is fantastic! The only gripe I have is the menuās letters can be a bit too light for us to read in the dim environment. Would absolutely recommend El Luchador and Barbacoa de borreago, theyāre the best in my opinion! Drinks wise, Santa Sandia is phenomenal and limonada agua fresca are to die for.
