Stopped by after a 13-mile jog thinking this would be a good pit stop, but the experience was pretty disappointing. The bartender said she couldn’t serve because there was no cash in the till until her boss showed up — meanwhile, one guy already had a beer and another was sipping coffee.
The door was locked at 8:15 a.m. even though the hours said open at 7:45, so another customer and I had to wait outside. When I finally got in and said I’d be paying with a card, she just pointed to the ATM. Another patron mentioned they’re an older establishment and not up to date with modern POS systems, which makes sense now.
I did enjoy the small beer sample I was given — that was the only highlight. Other than that, the visit was a miss. Might give it another chance someday, but honestly, I doubt it. Ended up heading to Chuck’s Trading Post instead.
Did not have the food here, but Jimmy is great! We came late on a Sunday and he showed us a great time. Drinks are priced well. We've been here before, but Jimmy created a welcoming atmosphere and offered great conversation. They're making a real effort to appeal to a higher end customer; the bathrooms are newly renovated. Looking forward to seeing upgrades. Will be returning!

Very friendly
Small bar with a neighborhood feel. They don't serve food, which would make this my goto spot if they did

Great neighborhood bar. The bar maid Blanche is such a delight and goes above and beyond

Always a nice atmosphere for a couple of drinks,or in my case a bucket of Budweisers, at the most reasonable prices in town. I have to be honest I've been a frequent customer at the the Clipper Mill Inn so I believe I've kept the secret long enough.
A true dive. This is (real) Bmore.
