Highly recommend blue pit! They just did bbq and mac n cheese for an engagement party I helped host and it was absolutely delicious! Cara was beyond helpful and accommodated our needs and was very responsive! It was amazing and we will definitely be using them again!! Thank you!

I had a taste for some BBQ and was immediately drawn to this establishment when I saw the combo of BBQ & Whiskey. The cocktails didn’t disappoint. Had something called “Carrot Mule” and in addition to tasting delicious it kind of creeps up on you in a very good way. I ordered the 3 meat special with two sides: pulled pork, brisket and ribs and my two sides were the collard greens and 4 cheese Mac & cheese. Blue Pit BBQ in Hampden is a new favorite restaurant, maybe all of Baltimore. The food is top notch, with amazing brisket, mac and cheese, ribs, pulled chicken, greens, and baked beans. A reuben special on grilled marble rye was generous and scrumptious. The cocktails are hand crafted and unique, including the best Old Fashioned in Baltimore and a pear mule. Sweet tea was perfection. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and treats customers like family. The atmosphere is great, and the outdoor patio is dog friendly, even providing water and treats. Blue Pit is also perfect for events like holiday parties, fundraisers, and weddings, with a private area upstairs and a custom bar. Service is very fast, with food brought to the table within 5 minutes. Street parking is easy. Highly recommended.
