Tavern at Woodberry Kitchen Reviews
Incredible locally sourced food! Indoor and outdoor seating options also great for special events like weddings and private parties. I’ve hosted a few private parties there over the years and the staff was always amazing.
Woodberry is back! Chef Gjerde has created a new fresh space with food and service that is superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our oyster pie and pork schnitzel main dishes and the assorted appetizer sampler was great (scrapple? really? I asked and was assured it was - and it was terrific!). Emilia, our server, was efficient, courteous, helpful, and very nice to speak with. the assorted dishes on the Tavern menu guarantees that you have to go back to try it all. We had the most amazing spring brunch wedding reception at Woodberry Kitchen this past March! It was absolutely beautiful and could not have been more perfect. Jolanta and her team were spot on with every detail, and the food was to die for! We can’t thank them enough for making our day so special!
We went to the tavern for brunch a few weeks before the wedding which was also super cute and tasty!

Tavern at Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore has a really cool atmosphere with its rustic old-factory setting. The space feels stylish but still comfortable, and the rustic space has warm lighting and a relaxed pace. The food tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with a nice farm-to-table feel. The seasonal menu actually tastes seasonal. The chicken and waffles were fantastic, and the schnitzel and appetizers were just as good. The chef’s attention to detail is visible in every dish. The menu has creative American dishes without feeling too overdone. The place is intimate, with bar seating in a tiny area where guests rub shoulders. Service is friendly, though it could be a bit more attentive. The team has always been kind and helpful. Whether for brunch, an intimate dinner, or a special celebration, it is a great spot for a relaxed dinner or date night, and guests feel comfortable bringing out-of-town guests for the atmosphere alone.
