Very friendly staff, patio seating was great. Ordered latte and the staple OG muffin, coffee was solid, muffin was tasty but rather doughy to my liking.

This is an absolutely delightful place. It has indoor and outdoor seating with a very cozy atmosphere. The food was very good and the service very pleasant. The buttermilk biscuits sound simple, but they’re a delicious and filling option if you’re looking for something that’s not too sweet. The neighborhood (36th St) offers a lot of interesting places to check out, too.

Friendly staff, nice food and drinks including vegetarian and non dairy options, and comfortable place to study and work. Love the art and the outdoor space, and they are friendly to unhoused people in the neighborhood. Understandably it gets a bit crowded on weekends, so I tend to just do take out those days.
Hampden special egg sandwich is just too good, I got that daily for a week

An amazing muffin and a great cup of tea served by the friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating and a great first visit. From what I’m told a community fixture. Definitely will return.

*** Welcome to the world’s slowest drip coffee! Served by slightly lazy young people socializing behind the bar, instead of actually doing any meaningful work ***
25 minutes for one cup, guys? 25 minutes!? That was nearly my entire break time. That even beats Starbucks at rush hour! Congratulations👏🏼
Too bad because the food seems to be good but it’s the service that kills it. I guess I’ll have to invest a couple hours to try it 🤣
From looking at your reviews, you have a clear theme of what the problem is. Perhaps some re-training? Or a new hiring manager? Just a thought.
