Topside is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. The drinks were good, but not strong. The food was delicious, but the cornbread that came with the chicken confite was absolutely inedible. The rib eye was great, the duck was delicious, and the rock fish was good. The service staff was not very attentive and did not have any table side conversations or recommendations.
This is one of the best dining views in Baltimore, and the food and service were excellent. I had been here for happy hour before and was very pleased with my first dinner here. I will return and bring friends.
Great views of the Mt Vernon area from the restaurant! Excellent service and one of the best burgers I've had! I was a bit disappointed with the Espresso Martini. Something was missing...
Date night with my daughter, per her request :) Amazing experience: gorgeous sunset, great ambiance, delicious octopus, lovely wine and personable staff.
What can I say? It's exceedingly rare to get that combination of fantastic food, imaginative and great drinks, a top view, and vibes all in one spot. Topside hits every one of those check boxes and does it with fantastic service as well!
Rooftop Atmosphere is hip and trendy and the views were great - we really liked it. Service and drinks were good as well. Food was just ok. $14 bread service tasted day-old and entrees were pretty lackluster. Cioppino was just seafood in some thick tomato sauce. Strawberry shortcake dessert was very tasty though. Would return for drinks and atmosphere alone.
Found this restaurant for brunch online due to its location. Did not disappoint. Menu options were great. Would recommend the smoked salmon avocado toast. Will be back.
Hannah was lovely! She was very attentive and kind. The espresso martini...chefs kiss! We will be returning for cocktails and more food!
I can't begin to tell you all how great our visit was. We were in town staying at the Revival to see a concert and to celebrate my Son's 18th Birthday. I made reservations at Topside and it was awesome. We had an amazing view of the city and the food was fantastic. Our server was awesome and made the experience even better!!!
Staff nice, but food is what we came for

This cafe is average, at best - food, ambience, everything.

The food, the service, the view—all top notch! Limited vegan options, but what they have is absolutely delicious.
I have eaten here several times before and NEVER disappointed - and that remains the case after last night's experience. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the pricing point is reasonable. The ambiance of this place is absolutely unmatched. I got a table away from the window initially and asked to be moved when I saw one open up. Unfortunately that table had already been reserved but when the next one opened, my waitress came and asked if I wanted to move! Of course I did, and she helped me get my stuff over to the window view of the monument. I take myself on a date night every week, and this has become my weekly go-to spot. I LOVE IT! I usually get the burger, but this time decided to spoil myself and try the ribeye. Let me tell you, it was so tender and juicy and the flavor just savored on your tongue so well. 10 out of 10 recommend!
Beautiful view and good food. We even had the option of happy hour priced drinks on a Saturday. The rockfish in curry sauce was exceptional.
Topside is great. We didn't stay due to the menu not being correct online. I wanted short rib but they didn't have it. Drinks were good.
