This place has been around for two years and holds itself out as a cool-sophisticated spot. The food was nothing to rave about (spinach salad and small plate tacos). But the biggest disappointment was the service and front of the house staff. They were very slow and as a result the staff seemed half asleep. I hope that they can pay more attention to what they do. We had a private event at Dear Charles and it was a fantastic experience. From the start of planning, the entire staff was helping, communicative and accessible. Our event was a corporate event, but the dining room and the food helped it be a relaxed atmosphere for all of our attendees.

We had our son's Rehearsal Dinner at Dear Charles over the weekend and it was fabulous! The food, the space, the service, the bar were all so good. Especially the servers who seamlessly provided drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Highly recommend!
