Einstein Bros. Bagels

I’m starved, there’s nobody in line at Einstein bagels as I’m on my way to my flight, the bagels actually look good, but all the reports of flies around the food and general health code violations make me too nervous so I’m gonna keep walking. Corporate needs to do something about that or shut that store down. Sorry Einstein! You guys rock the bagel world, but not at the airport.

Bagel was fine, and my iced caramel cold brew tasted more like mocha. Service was rather fast, but the person taking orders never even said thank you (even after I left 20%tip on a take out order), she also overcharged me, but I only noticed when I asked for my receipt. The girls behind the counter were bad mouthing the customers because sometimes they had to call out an order twice, but sometimes they were hard to hear/ understand what they were calling out. I work in airports, next time I'm in BWI, I will not be giving them my business.

It’s an airport. I’m not expecting great food or even good food. I frankly don’t even expect anything more than mediocre service. This place failed on all accounts. Waited in line for 20 minutes. They were busy but moving pretty slow behind the counter. All I wanted was 1 unaltered bagel (not cut, not toasted, no topping) and they managed to not get that right. Then they charged me wrong. I didn’t say anything about the bagel getting cut and toasted (despite asking not to) but didn’t want to overpay. Asking politely for the charge to be corrected got me an eye roll. Bring your own food from home or try any other food option at BWI.

I asked if I could have my sandwich on a tortilla instead of a bagel. They told me they only have tortillas in the morning even though they are on lunch menu. It was extremely hot in there. They didn’t have napkins and I had a messy sandwich. The food was good but the service was horrid.

I had a very disappointing experience. The staff was inattentive to my order and responded with attitude when I addressed my concerns. I should have asked for my money back. They also put a pound of bacon on my bagel, which was extremely greasy and disgusting. Overall, I will not be stopping here again.

There are fruit flies crawling all over the bagels in the case. I’m appalled by the disgusting health code violations and will be reporting this location to the Maryland Dept. of Health. Do better.

I asked for a cold brew shake. Was rung up for a cold brew.
Both employees I spoke with were rude. They told me to go back through the line to get my order fixed. I was willing to pay the difference for the extra, but they did not want to make any effort to fix the mistake.

THERE ARE FLYS IN THE BAGEL WARMER !
I was literally second on line when I looked down at the bagel warmer and saw several flys buzzing around as staff threw fresh bagels in. I jumped out of line immediately. Staff is completely inattentive.

Google really needs to make 0 star reviews. These girls are absolutely the most rude. Attitude is not required for everything it only reinforces a stereotype of young black girls which are the people working at this BWI location. If you do not like your job get another. Do yourself a favor, skip the attitude - wait and eat at another location, it’s simply not worth it. Airport food is already overpriced, couple that with terrible service and bad food. For anyone reading this - choose something else.

Yes, it’s airport food, but Einstein Bros. serves the same food here as everywhere else. I had some kind of cheesy chicken veggie sandwich on a toasted sesame bagel, and it was stuffed and well-made and delicious. Servers were friendly and quick, and i was able to relax with my tasty hot meal at my gate nearby on Concourse C.

The bagel sandwich was mediocre, but the cold brew vanilla shake was absolutely terrible. It wqs a spoonful of coffee in a cup of crushed ice with no vanilla whatsoever
