A week prior I had the Garden Avocado Egg Sandwich at the MDW location and I liked it so much I decided to have it again here on my way home. The avocado was brown, the roasted tomato spread was missing and it was on a plain bagel instead of an everything bagel. Yeah… just skip this place.

Employees don’t care. Didn’t even try to get the order right

I had asked for the bagel on my egg sandwich to be toasted well. The cashier assured me that was fine. I don’t believe it was toasted at all, but rather microwaved it because it was warm. I actually don’t really like untoasted bagels. They also gave me two eggs in the sandwich when I only asked for one (I only paid for one), which makes it more difficult to eat.

Purchased a drink and waited to the side, my drink was thrown in the trash due to me not hearing them calling my order out. I waited to the side for my drink for 20 mins and couldn’t hear her due to her talking VERY LOW. Once I seen her throw a freshly made drink away I walked up to her and said “Hey we can’t really hear what you’re saying, what was the drink you just threw away?” She explained what drink it was and it was my order. So I proceeded to say “oh that was mine” and she told me “Oh, well you shouldn’t have been over there having a conversation, you gonna need to get back and line and purchase a new drink if you want one”……my plane was boarding in 15 minutes!
I don’t think I even need to describe how bad that service was, this review is enough.
Please let go of those employees who do not have proper customer service!

The staff was loud and obnoxious, and not paying attention to the customers. This was obvious after asking for a coffee that was forgotten about, and a bagel with bacon, and no bacon was added.
Simple job responsibilities that the staff couldn’t even handle.

The service, as everyone else points out deserves a shout out. Lackluster energy, rude and not really sure if they’ve ever been given any sort of customer service training. Food was hot and as expected. The counters were a mess, things were not stocked and as guests asked for something, employees didn’t seem to care to help.

The most disorganized service I’ve seen in a while. Every customer in front of me had something wrong or missing from their order. One customer was waiting for 15mins just for a plain toasted bagel. From my perspective it looked like the young cashier wasn’t paying attention when ringing in orders causing a domino affect of problems down the line. There was a point when the cashier just walked away and went to the back leaving just one person to handle making the food and coffee orders while there was a line that wrapped around. It was just a mess and I ended up not eating here.

I don’t usually leave reviews. Rudest service people I’ve ever dealt with. Took my daughter’s cash for a smoothie after a 20 minute wait in a short line. She waited another 20 minutes to get it. They told her they’d already made it and yelled at her for “letting someone else” pick it up. Then the verbally assaulted her saying she must be dumb if she didn’t hear her order called. We were standing there the whole time. Refused to make her another one. Finally gave her money back. Don’t spend money here. My sandwich had cold sausage. Stay away.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this one is necessary. I went to Bagel Einstein and honestly, it was terrible. The service was unbelievably slow—slower than anything I can remember in recent years. The three people working there looked sloppy, didn’t seem clean, and acted like they were doing everything possible to avoid helping customers. Zero friendliness, zero effort. It felt like they were trying to push people away.

If the owner or manager cares about this business, it desperately needs a full reset—new staff, better hygiene, and at least some attention to customer service. Until that happens, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. You’re better off getting a bagel anywhere else.

I was definitely disappointed with the service. I could not hear or understand the person taking orders. It wasn’t very busy but it took over 20 minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese. When I asked about it the girl “rudely” said “I’m not working on that yet. I suggest going to another corridor to order your coffee at Starbucks. Much better service and much better coffee!
