Ordered the honey old bay salmon bites, Mac and cheese and greens. Salmon bites didn't have honey or old bay on them but a different sauce. Mac and cheese had a weird taste, not edible, my daughter wont even eat it and she loves Mac $cheese. Greens were good. Also ordered the whiting platter with shrimp, potatoe salad and yams. Yams were very very sweet but and potato salad was creamy. Fish was seasoned well. Please note it's hard to get assistance they don't answer the phone. If you order use a company like Grubhub or DoorDash so you have customer service if needed.

I do my best to support black owned businesses. So I'll just say that day wasn't the best. I love soul food and this wasn't giving me that. My daughter said it was good the first time she went. My first time wasn't that at all. It's pretty small one table inside and very hot. I paid and waited for our food while 2 young men serviced us. The 2 ladies that were there went to the beauty supply store. I was shocked but again with the size of this establishment I guess. I'm not sure I would drive 1hr to give this another try.

First time trying the England Eatery.. I’ll give it 5 stars.. very flavorful and seasoned just right. I had the stuffed salmon with macaroni & collard greens. My salmon was cooked exactly the way I like it. Nice size portions, they definitely hooked me up on the macaroni. I’ll definitely be back to try their turkey wings, colossal shrimp, and to get me some salmon again. Plus their black owned!!! I also like that you can text them instead of calling.

Yesterday was my first time at England Eatery. I had the lake trout platter. While the lake trout was good. But not the best I have had. However, the Mac and cheese was the worst I have ever had. Krafts Mac and cheese is better and the collard greens was terrible.

Who leaves bones and gristle in chicken and dumplings. After you bite into it blindly, you no longer want it. The trust is gone for this restaurant!

The staff went out of their way to make sure that my experience was good. I was visiting the city and took the trip from the other side to get there. The stuffed lamb was delicious and omg the crabby biscuit was the best biscuit I ever had.

With so many soulfood options to choose from in the city, England Eatery is a win for new style soulfood. Located in the Pigtown area of Baltimore this tiny eatery is serving up new homestlye soulfood, such as honey old bay crabby biscuits, fried salmon bites, and fish & shrimp tacos. I opted for the chicken and waffles this go around, which was decently tasty. The order did specify it was tenders and not wings to be served, and I was set on the tenders. So notification to the customer that they would have to switch out the type of chicken would've been nice. However, the hot honey j*** sauce on the wings was delicious and definitely spicy. The waffle was light and airy, however, no syrup or butter was provided in the bag for the waffle. But the star dish was the shrimp tacos. Filled full of crispy shrimp, a little slaw, and this boom boom style sauce. One of my favorite items on the menu. If you're looking for some classic soulfood flavors, as well as, some new style items give England Eatery a try.

I've been here several times, and the food is always on point!! Don't you just love when a place lives up to the hype? The fried salmon bites were a standout, perfectly tender on the inside, crispy on the outside, can choose one of many sauces, we went with honey old bay, cause duh, that honey pool at the bottom and all around flavor...yum! The salmon roll-up comes stuffed with a crap/spinach dip, rolled and brushed with garlic butter. Need I say more? The chicken wings & French vanilla toast crunch were delish (honey old bay sauce on the wings again). The crabby biscuits are worth their weight in gold! So good! And the Mac n cheese is standout too!! And best of all, we scored the (taco Tuesday) crab dip taco on a Saturday!! Don't expect that tho...apparently it was online by mistake, but the wonderful owner still made it for us when she saw the order come through! It was amazing!

I love this spot. If you love delicious comfort food this is the vibe. Make sure to get their crabby honey old bay cheddar biscuit! It is so delicious! The fried salmon bites, lamb chops and blacked honey old bay salmon platter are all must tries. The spot inside is relatively small so it's a great carry out spot if you want to eat at home. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Drove from PA with my family to experience this eatery I heard so much about. Upon entering this establishment I was taken back by the appearance, as it is much smaller than I expected and slightly unkempt. Overall this experience was simply okay.I ordered crab biscuits and the salmon bites. To start, I asked for fresh biscuits, this is because they had several in a warmer (similar to that of a preztel warmer) and they did not look appealing. When my order was ready they gave me old biscuits drowned in butter with little to no crab meat. The bottom of the biscuits were too hard to even eat. I suggest you order fresh biscuits with extra meat and check your order before you leave the eatery.I also ordered the hot honey old bay salmon bites which were really good. They were fried nicely and very flavorful. I would definitely ordered this again.I have attached a picture and please do not let the sunlight on the biscuit fool you. It's shining from all that butter they poured on it.

The food overall was subpar. My friend and I both ordered the honey old bay fried salmon bites platter w/mac n cheese, cabbage and greens. The salmon comes on a bed of rice. The salmon bites and rice was really good and flavorful. The cabbage was awful (see below), it seemed to be over cooked and had no seasoning.

I've been here on two separate occasions and the food hits every time. The first time i went i got the stuffed salmon, I'm not a fan of anything stuffed (except Oreos) but it was seasoned to perfection. The greens were good and the Mac i wasn't exactly used to but it was very cheesy. The second time i went, i got the smothered turkey chop platter. You can't see it but there's TWO chops in there ! The mashed potatoes were velvety and i love their greens so that was that. The gravy was standard by itself but with that chop, it took it to a whole mother level. What i really like about England, aside from the food and southern-like hospitality, is that when paying/ordering online the take CashApp. So no hassle with your card because you can just connect with the app. All in all this place is a great stop, enjoy! Oh and i checked them out pre-tik tok exposure, so take what you will

Chicken tenders and wings or way too salty. The chicken tenders taste better when they’re cold. Macaroni and cheese was not all that. My mother got the salmon bites with yellow rice the rice is undercooked it was crunchy. Only thing that tasted wonderful what is the mango lemonade and the candied yams.
