I do my best to support black owned businesses. So I'll just say that day wasn't the best. I love soul food and this wasn't giving me that. My daughter said it was good the first time she went. My first time wasn't that at all. It's pretty small one table inside and very hot. I paid and waited for our food while 2 young men serviced us. First time trying the England Eatery.. I’ll give it 5 stars.. very flavorful and seasoned just right. I had the stuffed salmon with macaroni & collard greens. My salmon was cooked exactly the way I like it. Nice size portions, they definitely hooked me up on the macaroni. I’ll definitely be back to try their turkey wings, colossal shrimp, and to get me some salmon again. Plus their black owned!!! I also like that you can text them instead of calling.
Drove from PA with my family to experience this eatery I heard so much about. Upon entering this establishment I was taken back by the appearance, as it is much smaller than I expected and slightly unkempt. Overall this experience was simply okay.I ordered crab biscuits and the salmon bites. To start, I asked for fresh biscuits, this is because they had several in a warmer (similar to that of a preztel warmer) and they did not look appealing.
