Do not waste your time or money at this place. The entire inventory is old and stale. Unfortunately, the owners are incredibly rude to the people who spend money at the store and to the community surrounding.

This is my friendly neighborhood Indian carry out, and I love it. It's a little hole in the wall place connected to a corner store. The food is yummy and affordable, the service is good, and the people are always super nice.

..smh..The one star is because it won't let me post without selecting at least one star. Maybe because it's late and they were assumably closing in two hours..but my food was horrible. I'd ordered a fried fish sub and it was soggy. The fish was fresh but it was rushed. I take a bite into the sub..smh..and it was a long piece of hair in it, honestly. My fries were cold and soft..smh.. Ha..how about, I ordered a Sprite and was brought a Pepsi..lol. smh.. Never again.. I didn't finish the sub because I refused to eat it after I pulled hair from my mouth and the sub (long hair).. Nevertheless.. They seem to have fresh food at a good price but be careful when you order from here. You might end up with more than you asked for. The one star is because it won't let you post without selecting at least one.

I have only had their food at a food festival/fair. In fact they are the main reason I go to that fair. The food is already prepared so there is no cooking time. You just have to wait a little in line, which moves fast. Food is tasty and you get spinach, vegetable rice, chick peas, fritters and butter chicken for only $5. You can also get chicken-on-stick and samosa for another $5. I think this is a great deal and taste is awesome. Very good food and nice staff.

Extremely late delivery (2hrs). I called after 1hr 15 mins and they said it would be at my house, "any minute" and it arrived 45 minutes later. When it arrived the food was substandard, especially the samosa. It was soaked in an artificial green sauce and still dry.

This place is Americanized to some degree, in my opinion, because there is a ton of cream in some of their dishes, but the big draw for me is their seafood. I don't eat other kinds of meat so that's a huge plus for me, especially since the Indian places in the direct vicinity don't do fish (I don't think). Nothing crazy awesome, but it's decent. Try the tandoori fish tikka ($13.95). It's just fish but you get a lot and it's good. The shrimp biryani ($14.95) isn't going to blow your mind or anything, but it's pretty good, too. I am also very curious to try the two different kinds of dal ($10 each) on their menu and their crab dish (crab kovalam - with coconut). I strongly recommend their pakora, too. It's only $3 and it'll be hot and a little greasy, which is sometimes exactly what I'm looking for. Again, they give you a good amount. I wasn't wild about their samosas, but they weren't bad - you can't beat Punjab's (E 33rd St.)! Best to skip the combo platter and just get the pakora, but that's just me. I've also had the malai kofta which was standard but good ($9.95). I've ordered take out from them three times and they have told me that the order would take 45 minutes to deliver. Each time the order has come sooner than that. I've never had any problems.

Seriously, fuck this place. I have order from here a total of two times. both times have been the worst experience. The first time was a couple of years ago. I ordered palak paneer and it showed up 45 late (a total of an hour and half delivery time) and tasted like it was made with chalk, the cheese was cold as ice and came in maybe 5 gigantic chunks instead of smaller manageable cubes. It was the worst palak paneer I had ever had. Now, tonight, I have made this account to warn people of the second time this establishment as transgressed against me, Tonight, two years later, I again ordered palak paneer. The food showed up on time but, surprise, it's the wrong item. They brought me chicken tikka masala instead. I am a vegetarian. I cannot eat this bullshit. The funnies part is I tried to call them immediately after discovering the mistake and there was no answer whatsoever. Do not order food from this place. EVER. They have the absolute worst delivery I have ever encounter and as far as I can tell, their food is shit.

Ugh. Friendly service can't make up for messing up the basics. Ordered chicken tikka dry, instead I was served a chili chicken dry. Tried a slice of the pizza, found it was no better than grocery store branded frozen pizza. On top of it all, the food was overpriced, hygiene was questionable and location dodgy. Don't waste your time or money!

bleck! a waste of $18! my first time ordering from them and this was the WORST naan I've ever had from an Indian restaurant! It tasted like thick flour tortillas without butter :P the chicken tikka masala was also flavorless and the chicken poor quality (every bite had tendons in it). The portion size was good except for my tiny mango lassi and the delivery fast, but needless to say, I won't be ordering here again!
