After a visit to one of the excellent museums, this is a great place for a nosh. I'm an omnivore and my niece is vegan. We both enjoyed lunch together, pleased with our choices.

we walked the short distance after church and was pleasantly surprised at the wide selection of gourmet cousine.

Been there twice so far. Tried their chicken bowl first, then their paneer bowl today. Both times I was disappointed. They never give enough protein, and their tikka and saag sauces are always too runny. I can see they're trying to go for a Chipotle-style kind of vibe, but it's not gonna be successful if you're gonna put more time and effort into getting new signs instead of better quality food and staffing.

Gave this place a second try after initially trying it a few months ago. Protein portion is small and sauces are runny. While I am no expert, I have definitely had better Indian food than this. Not worth your money. There are definitely better places to get Indian food in the area.

Great food, if you looking for something different.

It's a shame when owners don't train their employees and expect them to work a busy shift. If the proper people can't show up to the job the restaurant needs to close for the day. You are going to continue to get terrible reviews if you keep up such incompetence.

This is one of my go-to lunch spots in Mt. Vernon. I actually find the portion size to be quite large, as I sometimes struggle to finish a bowl because I become so full. I do agree with the one reviewer about the chicken fat, though. While most of the chicken meat is tender and flavorful, I do sometimes get a bite of fat. I'm by no means a food expert, especially when it comes to Indian food, but I tend to think of IndiBowl as fast Indian food/Chipotle style Indian food. I don't think that makes it any less delicious, but I don't think you should expect your bowl to taste like a dish you might get at a restaurant like Royal Taj. Still one of my favorite spots to eat at during the work week! I usually get the chicken tikka masala bowl with biryani-flavored basmati rice. Additionally, I get the channa masala (chickpea curry), jalapenos, onion, cilantro, lettuce, mint sauce, and the white sauce (sorry, I don't remember what this is!)

If you are in the Mt. Vernon area and want a bite to eat, Mount Vernon Marketplace offers really great options. The space has a very fun vibe. Make sure to mix and match and get different things from different vendors.

I've tried them once, and I have to admit this was not the best experience. The food was a bit cold, and I could taste the fat in the chicken more than the meat. They also forgot my naan which was quite disappointing

I thought this place was fantastic! The flavors are good. If you're into mild and medium spice levels then you'll be just fine here. I think the idea of being able to add things to your bowl once you've chosen your protein is cool. I tried the chicken masala and that was good. Then I tried the lamb vidoloo (sp?) and it was so tender and good! I also added another sauce, the spinach sauce! YUM! The staff were so friendly and helpful when it came to helping us understand our choices and Letting ya try little samples. So, if u walk by and they have samples available, TRY THEM! Also try the mango lassi! It's more authentic then a place like Mi and Yu Noodle Bar that's for sure. I say manage your expectations and understand where u are. You're in a marketplace in gentrified Baltimore City. Relax and enjoy the experience. Give it a try! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
