Jimmy's is a Baltimore institution with great food.Customers have included the late William Donald Schaefer and former Senator Barbara Mikulkski. If you're visiting the Inner Harbor and want a great stack of pancakes, just take a short ride from Harborplace on the Water Taxi. We went here for lunch the other day. I had a club sandwich with crab cake and shrimp salad. If there were a sandwich hall of fame this sandwich would have a prominent place there.
Stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town. All three of us were happy with our meals, would not hesitate to stop again. Little slow getting our meals but not too bad. Owner not to engaging though.
The food is great but the service seems to be hit or miss. And by watching everything play out during our long wait for food it does appear to be more of a management issue. Our sever was excellent and apologetic for our wait which we appreciated. I think better scheduling of staff and more willingness for management to step in and help would go a long way.
