Karella's Cafe Reviews
We were a large group that came in from out of state for the Goya tournament held at St Nicholas. The food was delicious, authentic Greek, and the portions were huge. We are thankful to the owners who accommodated our large group. If you want a cozy Greek restaurant with great Greek food you definitely want to try this place out! I got the pork souvlaki platter and the tirokeftedes- Καλή όρεξη

Karella's Cafe is a small family-run Greek restaurant located in East Baltimore, specifically in Greektown. Despite having a limited menu, the quality of the food is exceptional and can compete with any other Greek restaurant in the area. The grilled octopus appetizer is highly recommended and has become a favorite for many customers. Other popular dishes include the spicy feta dip, cheeseballs, fried shrimp, pork and chicken souvlaki, pilaf rice, and Greek village salad. The atmosphere feels authentic, with Greek television channels playing inside and an open kitchen where diners can see their food being prepared. The staff is friendly and offers excellent service, making everyone feel welcome. The inside is clean and updated, and the cooking oil is always fresh. Customers have also enjoyed the homemade rice pudding and Greek coffee. Even late arrivals are welcomed, and portions are hearty and authentic. This small taverna is a favorite among locals and is definitely worth a visit for those wanting to experience genuine Greek flavors.
