Have been here 20+ times on a weekly to biweekly basis for dinner and always impressed by atmosphere, range of food andbar selections, and staff friendliness. The boxed lunch was a great deal - ample food and 3-4 different items. Had those a couple of times but looks like perhaps they are not offering these anymore? Overall great choice - and in my opinion the best in this area - for upscale sushi and hibachi dinners.

The sushi and portions are wildly inconsistent here but the fish is extremely fresh and without filler in all of their rolls. I order the chirasi every time I come here and some times it's great but like tonight, it was mostly daikon radish and almost no fish. For nearly $19 that's really annoying. With that said the sushi is so good and very fresh. We got takeout tonight but eating in the restaurant is lovely. The owners are super nice and always try their best to deliver high quality everything. I just wish it was consistent.

Best sushi in the DMV! the fish is so fresh and they dont skimp on the fish in the rolls either. They also have some of the best speciality rolls out there, especially their rolls with the real crab! They also always offer a little bonus sushi piece which is always greatly appreciated :) staff super friendly as well. I always make sure to stop by here when I'm in Baltimore.

Excellent portions, staff was attentive, polite and welcoming. Food quality and freshness was excellent. Two of my rolls had mango and the ripeness was just right. This restaurant is 30 minutes away from my home and replaced the restaurant we would frequent that is 10 minutes away. It is worth it!

soooo gas. the sushi chef is a beast. when my partner and i arrived we were the only ones there and then we watched all the tables quickly fill up. it’s a small venue but 5 full tables of orders and several pick up orders were all handled by this one guy it was awesome. there was somewhat of a wait but because we saw someone pick up three FULL bags of food amidst two or three other pick up orders, but that’s completely expected since it was fr just this one chef on the bar. he really banged everything out tho it was crazy impressive. the sushi itself was so fresh and the portions were huge. we got the miso soup (gas, as expected), eel avocado roll, salmon roll, tuna and mango roll, and spicy yellowtail with cucumber. cost was also way better than a lot of other places for the same amount of food. wait staff was super nice and attentive as well. :-)

didn't try much of their menu, but best Udon I've had outside of Japan. add beef to it. the Dashi is delicious. if they decided to have a soft boiled egg ... that would make it perfect

Our server was very nice and friendly. We did have to wait 20ish mins for the food but they gave us a free little appetizer to munch on. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Would come here again!

Although the service was a bit slow even in the 5 table restaurant, I could understand why it was packed even with people waiting for carry out orders. The sushi was phenomenal— freshness, portion, presentation, all of it. They even added a few extra pieces for us which I assume was for the wait…nonetheless very much appreciated!!! Not a Baltimore local but highly recommend Kiku Sushi if you’re in the area craving some fresh catches😋🐟🍣
