Don't sit it the stepchildren side of the restaurant (the dark communal tables by the bar), service is extremely lacking and when we are served, it was all kinds of wrong! They completely forgot about my matcha from the warm sunny bakery side (the server said someone else "stole" it) and when I asked for a to go cup, the lid didn't even fit the cup ?‍? we did talk to the manager and he was very caring and took a few drinks off the bill. Food was good though

Really cool location. Food was solid, but a little uneven and some things were a little overpowering salty. Venue is really nice and drinks were great. Service was a little slow.

This was my fourth time here. Brought a friend with me, who hasn't been there. The food is outrageously good! I finally tried some of their donuts and I don't know why I waited so long! Their staff is great. They gave us some extra donuts because we were waiting to get more coffee and it was taking a while to get some coffee refills.

I've been eagerly waiting to visit this place, but it was a bit disappointing. the service was lacking. There were not enough staff to attend to customers properly. I had to ask for utensils and napkins twice, and the restroom was poorly maintained with no toilet paper. The bathroom trash was also overloaded. The matcha tea was overly sweet. Make sure to check your bill carefully. They overcharged us for something we didn't eat.

Server was alone, so that made for a very very slow dinner. But he really tried. The good was fantastic. The mushroom pizza was to die for, and big enough that I brought more than half home. So so good.

Pros:Amazing breakfastReally pretty place/ upscale atmosphereAble to watch them bake if you sit upstairsOrnate/ yummy desertsFun little shop attachedNice, helpful staffCons:had to give 3 star for the dinner menu and tea.We started with sweet bread and sweet butter(for free for everyone sitting). It was AlMOST there… but had the consistency of white bread so I wouldn’t really prefer that again… especially for a place that’s a bakery so I’d expect the best quality bread ever. This was not the case. The edible flowers on our entrees and the bread was a nice upscale touch.I ordered tea for $5 which resulted in a very small cup and could not get any refills. Never paid so much for tea in my life. It was more expensive than Starbucks. The tea wasn’t any better than what you’d get in a refillable pot at a restaurant to drink throughout your entire meal. Would not order again. Waaaayyy too overpriced.I had the seabass for $37. It was a very tiny square of sea bass. Swirls of sauce to decorate the plate, and a few legs of a soft shell crab. No side.Sea bass and sauces were delicious. The crab was EXTREMELY fishy… I couldn’t bare to eat it …. And I’m a pescatarian/ lover of fish and seafood. For $37 I was left hungry. This small portion would be acceptable at an upscale restaurant but not a cafe with counter service. This is more marketed as a “stone mill bakery” type of restaurant.I ordered an additional side of broccolini, which was crammed/stacked on the smallest plate imaginable and I had to eat it by hand because there was no space to cut it. Extremely oily but taste was good.My mom ordered the schnitzel which she said was burned, had gristle and was in a super sweet sauce that tasted like pancake syrup- she was not a fan.Overall this place is “too big for its britches” it’s a cafe but wants people to pay for a Michelin star meal and leave hungry…. And doesn’t have the absolute best food for dinner to boot.In summary, I’d recommend this place for breakfast but not past that.

I was recently victimized one of the most extraordinary scams I’ve ever experienced in the city of Baltimore: Kneads’ $17 “burrata caprese ciabatta.”I can’t quite stop thinking about what I got in return for forking over nearly 20 bucks: a thin slice of mozzarella, some mealy, pre-cut tomato and their alleged “caponata.”It was a sandwich so thin, so unbelievably ungenerous and underwhelming, I felt like it was personally holding up a middle finger at me. For $17, I would be willing to accept a small but exquisitely made sandwich OR a large but mediocre sandwich. At Kneads, I waited around for 15 minutes and received a sandwich that was both as expensive as an airport sandwich, but somehow worse.I understand inflation is eating into everybody’s margin these days, but i came here for a sandwich - not to pay your rent.

Large Cafe. Perfect for coworking, as the seating upstairs is secluded from a lot of the noise.Comfortable seats, you can sit in for hours. They have breakfast food, pastries as well as lunch. This time, I got a burger & fries. This is the best burger I’ve had in a while. The perfect amount of juiciness, the cheese was melted perfectly, and it wasn’t too messy with the toppings. Two patties, lettuce tomato and onion, with their house sauce. 10/10.Their fries are salted well, and have a shape that is engineered for a pleasurable consumption. Around 1/3 were too crispy, but the ones that were not were really good. 7/10. They have ketchup and ranch for dipping sauces. They have a section for Natalie’s juices, with Strawberry Lemonade, Tangerine, Orange and Pineapple Orange bottles. I got Strawberry Lemonade. It was really good, however, it is sugary.. but a fresh, natural sugar, not processed at all. Will be coming back!

Their employees' vehicles and delivery trucks are consistently parked blocking the sidewalks and bike lanes near their building-- what a way to be a poor neighbor to the community ?

Never been here. I ordered a Latte ☕️ and Croissant ? my husband and i sat in a table. Place is empty, no customers. This may be why. The manager (a Karen) ran out from the bakery and told us not to sit in the cafe. Had she trained her cashiers properly and told people where to sit and wait for our order. Croissants were hard, days old and not freshly baked this morning. Disappointing! I will never be back and will tell others not to as well.

Best croissants in Baltimore! We also got a chai latte, also great. There's seating upstairs for floors who order a knosh, but full seating in the restaurant, so you have choices.

The person at the counter told me all their food has dairy in it so we could not eat there at all. The oat milk lattes were fine.Dietary restrictions: No non-dairy food options.
