You know we travel a lot and in many countries. We like good food and like to be surprised. What you have offered us here surpasses by far everything that culinary art can offer. Thank you very much!!!

Had dinner here last night for a Vulcan corporate training and was really amazed with the menu selections. We were served limited menu with menu selections to include, spinach & gruyere croquettes, local tomatoes, roasted shishito peppers, sumac crusted swordfish, shrimp and la plantxa, pan roasted pork chop & wood grilled strip steak; everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was extremely efficient and kept a fabulous flow throughout the evening. Bartender made one of the best margaritas I've ever had outside of San Antonio, grateful for the honor and privilege to dine at this establishment.

I have left core memories in this place. The food is great albeit it is not authentic Basque. Considering this is in the US, you cannot ask too much and it will still be a great experience. Bread is decent. The varieties disappoint. It is also way less expensive based on the quality of services and food. I come here every year when I can.

Service was great. Food was lackluster and not worth the $$$. The patatas bravas literally tasted like taco bell fiesta potatoes and were not authentic at all!! We are currently laying in bed, feeling nauseous from the cuisine - so much oil and lemon and salt. Save the trip here and take that money and go to Spain. Again, service was fantastic and the wine list was extensive.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The menu is always a little different and the wine selection is so well thought out. It's super fancy, but somehow you feel at home.

La Cuchara is definitely worth a visit. Parking is directly out font and there were plenty of spaces on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation in advance, but they also gave a large bar area.
The menu includes small bites, tapas, entrees, and tinned seafood options. Once seated, they give you a few slices of their fresh baked bread, and you can order a loaf to take home! We loved the onion and garlic bread.
There is quite a lot to choose from on the main menu and they have a large wine list. We ordered the 12-month aged Jamon (to die for), the shrimp, oyster fritters, and lobster broth mushrooms.
Our service was great- thanks to Amanda for some bread to take home after they ran out of the onion/garlic bread. Attentive service and friendly staff.

I heard and read good things about this place but I was highly disappointed . They charge a service fee at the bar and our server was very flat and almost rude . I couldn’t figure out if she had a neurodivergent disorder or if she was just not happy to be at work. When we asked about food item on the menu her response was literally “it’s ok” … I mean “blah” no details about ingredients or flavor profile . She really made us feel as if she was doing us a favor when we were there to try different menu items eat and enjoy a nice dinner . She had tattooed arms and black hair and I wish I could remember her name like how I remembered how bad the service was. I can’t say she was a racist because she seemed to be as cold and disconnected with the much older couple next to us. I had the lamb shoulder and it was just ok, my friend said the potatoes were pretty good… I was so not impressed…. The best thing I had was a sweet mocktail and a cappuccino. The place was packed but I doubt I’d ever return.
