Great for tapas, that's all our party of 7 did, and cocktails. All loved the novel savory influences. A bit pricey, but comparable to other upscale restaurants.

It's pricey but the food was definitely very delicious. The service was fast, and the server was nice. The quesadillas are awesome, and the fideo soup really hit the spot. The sauces on the enchiladas were also on point. The decor is a mix of traditional accents and hip vibe. Valet parking only unless you want to park on the street.

Ate at the bar. Service was impeccable. From the host who opened our wine to the bartender. The morcilla raviñoi was incredible and the fromage de Tète was like carnitas on steroids. We had the olives and spinach/Gruyere croquettes pintxos. Everything great.I must add that I was here when they just opened and they have up theirs act 1000%. My first experience was questionable and now I fully recommend this place. Come and enjoy it!

Probably one of Baltimores best restaurants. Amazing atmosphere and service. Food was very authentic and tasty. Food portions are larger than expected. Highly recommend getting several small plates of food to try as much as possible. Automatic 22 percent gratuity was made very clear by the staff and it was actually pretty nice to not have to think about adding a tip.

Went for a birthday dinner. The restaurant has a warm welcoming vibe and the staff are the best. Our server was very knowledgeable about that day's menu and got us settled in with drinks promptly. The food was amazing. We tried a little bit from each section of the menu and loved every dish. Will definitely be coming back.

I've been waiting to leave this review for when I had time to sit down and give it (the review) the respect I think it deserves after our experience. We went to La Cuchara for my going away dinner as I'm moving to Texas. It was a 26-person dinner from 6pm to 10:30pm - and may just be the BEST DINING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!The Owner, Jake, waited on us personally and it was some of the most prompt, thoughtful, and "On-The-Ball" service I've ever experienced. No one ever had an empty drink over the entire dinner. Instead of everyone ordering, Jake picked small plates for the table to share to start off and then he picked the main dishes of the steak, the scallops, and a vegetarian dish, interspersed throughout the table for additional sharing. The FOOD WAS AMAZING!! EVERY SINGLE dish that Jake brought out was practically licked clean. THE COCKTAILS WERE ON POINT!! NOT ONLY did they come out RIGHT AWAY, but they were also incredibly tasty. Not once did the dinner feel rushed, nor did ANY of the servers who were assisting Jake ever makes us feel like we should head out asap. Rather, the entire staff continually made sure everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves and having a GREAT time. Despite making our way through so much food in thr apps & entres, nost of the table was able to take their time ordering and enjoying desert. The ambience was fantastic! As we had a long table in a segregated space to ourselves, everyone felt comfortable with being as loud and gregarious as they chose.I could keep on raving about this night, but just trust me that La Cuchara should go right up in your top 5 best restaurants of Baltimore lists! The day after this dinner I received texts from just about everyone who was there raving about what a fantastic time they had....Thanks again Jake! It really was a special and perfect night!Parking: Plenty!

Vegetarian options: Menu is small and types of tapas vary. When we went there were sufficient vegetarian options for everyone to share.

The food was good. Best tapas in town. However, our server Benedict was very pompous and rude. Benedict was forgetful and intentionally deprived us of a good experience, extra bread and went so far as to lie about its availability. His reliance on the included 22% gratuity prevented him from going the extra mile to make sure that we were happy. 400 dollars was spent, and we would’ve tipped a lot more than the 22% but Benedict gave us a bad attitude and zero recommendations. How someone can be in the service industry and have such a negative portrayal and display of service is beyond me and hopefully is beyond the management at La Cuchara do better Benedict

The food is great. Hands down, the best tapas in town. Our server Benedict really ruined the experience. He forgot some of our order, and when I reminded him he was condescending in his energy attitude and response. We asked for extra bread so that we could use it with the delicious sauces as we didn't want to waste a drop. He grabbed our plates and never brought the bread. He then asked if there as a problem and I reminded him of the bread and he stated the kitchen informed him there was none. I asked the person who came to ask if we wanted dessert and he said there was still bread. Benedict waited until the last moment to tell us the kitchen would be closing. Benedict is a bad server who relies on the 22%percent included gratuity. We spent $400 and collectively agreed that the service was not worth an extra tip.

We had a baby back in October, which meant we were mostly house-bound for a few months. The baby’s Grandma gave us a break one December night so we could go on our first date since the baby was born. We decided on ordering several courses of tapas and ponchos.Everything was lovely. All the dishes had a ”wintery” feel. Standouts were a butternut squash ravioli and my favorite, sweet potato (or maybe butternut squash?) sorbet. The sorbet had a hint of chili pepper that warmed your whole body as you ate it. Great service as well.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
