We ate there on our last night in Baltimore and it was the best meal we had the entire trip. The service and food were both excellent. The menu had many great offerings, so decided on what to have was a challenge. We had an appetizer and two amazing entrees. We did not have room for desert, so we only had Cappuccino. This restaurant was recommended by a friend from Baltimore and it did not disappoint. It was one of the better Italian meals we've ever had.
The most amazing waiter, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! Owner greeted us and we discussed the recipe, no secrets divulged. My husband orgasmed over the Pollo bolognese. Best limoncello. We may come back to Baltimore just for this restaurant.
This is our 3rd time coming to La Scala. The first time was absolutely amazing, but ever since then, we have been very underwhelmed. I have tried the penne alla vodka all 3 times because the 1st time was perfection. It is supposed to be a spicy sauce, but it is not at all. I’ve only experienced the spice my first visit. This past visit, I ordered 2 scallops and 1 shrimp with the pasta. The scallops were so small and they were $8 a piece which is insanity. The pasta was overly...
