Absolutely divine evening.
Charming place with a fan moving the air through this dark, authentically French spot.
The food was delicious and the wine options were great.
I highly recommend and think it’s one of the best restaurants in Baltimore.

My favorite restaurant in Baltimore period dot.
Favorite restaurant in all of Baltimore. We always go at least once or twice when we are in the area. Staff is wonderful, friendly and make great menu recommendations. Go with a group of 5-6 people and you will have the opportunity to try the whole menu. Portions are just right for sharing!

Flawless experience from start to finish. I popped in early evening and sat at the bar for a solo dinner and drink. The menu, which changes regularly, expertly balances classic French dishes with creative takes on seasonal produce. Plates are generously portioned, gorgeously arranged, and among the wine selections, there’s something for everyone. I loved sitting at the bar and watching kitchen prep; it was the solo dinner of my dreams, and one I’ll absolutely be repeating as soon as possible.

Magnificent! Every dish was delicious, as were the wine and appetizers. Friendly attentive service and a homey unpretentious setting. Limited menu. We like to eat out and this was the best we've had in a long time.

Absolutely delightful dining experience. The sourdough, the anchovies, and the peposo salad were excellent, and the pate was unforgettable. Wine was fabulous also.

Get the fava beans! Even if Anthony Hopkins isn’t around, they are out of this world.

Had the most pleasant dinner here. Sourdough was a thick slab of wonderful. Gilda pintxo was perfect (right size olive/anchovy/pepper). Castelfranco salad was a delight - great flavor and texture. Truly enjoyed the peposo since it was such a unique menu item (incredibly tender and flavorful). Atmosphere and service were great.

I had been wanting to try this place for many months now and it was the perfect restaurant choice for my partner and I's anniversary. The atmosphere alone would have been enough to recommend this place, but the food and service are what brought it over the top. The menu is inventive while still harking towards those classic French dishes you don't often see this side of the Atlantic. It's rare when the starter salad is the dish I'll keep coming back to in my mind, but still cannot believe the chef was making terrine.
The duck is a must.
Will be coming back again and again. This place is awesome

It saddens me to write this review as we had been looking forward to dining here all summer. We came to Baltimore for the first time to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and carefully selected Comptoir du Vin for our special night. The space was beautiful and we couldn't wait to try the duck that had been advertised on Instagram. After our server greeted us, she informed us that they were out of the duck. Huge bummer and started things off on a bad note. Not once throughout the night was our anniversary acknowledged and while friendly, we felt ignored by our server throughout the night. The little gem salad and pork neck were excellent and we were so looking forward to the raspberry cobbler to end the meal. 5 minutes after ordering it, our server comes over and lets us know that they were out of cobbler for the night. Ugh. We left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed by the whole experience. A sad experience to end our otherwise great trip to Baltimore.
