This is my first time coming to Mackey's Crab House. I purchased medium size crabs with 2 corns and some butter. Price was fair considering everything has gone up lately, so I gave it a shot. The front desk attendant was very friendly and customer service was top-notch and unfortunately the crabs were not. When I got them home I received small so no I feel like I got got. Also noticed some of the crabs were not fully cooked all the way and lacked flavor with little to no meat. When you first come in to place an order, someone wrote on the menu next to the pricing ''Heavy crabs''. They need to erase that sht and put light crabs. I wanted to give this Black-owned business a chance, and I did but every time I get let down. Mackey's dropped the ball today and I have to give them a 1 star.

I had online ordered from them a few times, and each time my order was canceled because they couldn't fill it. I had ordered large snow crabs and a Pepsi and had my stomach set on it, especially for today Valentines day. I am very disappointed with them.

Yesterday, I purchase some crabs from this crab house and was not please with the customer service and the crabs. To make a long story short, the crabs had puddles of water( stream) inside and when I called and brought the crabs back; the owner was hostile and informed me that he never had a customer to complain and he been cooking crabs since 2006, and that a lie after reading some of the reviews. Mackey took the crabs and later discovered that he recooked the crabs( NASTY and this not SAFE Service) and the reason I knew he recooked the crabs, one of the crabs that were open was recook, that is NASTY for customers that came after. I will never purchase anything from that place. Thanks to the brother in the crab house that refused to purchase anything from Mackey Crab House for the way he demonstrated customer services. People let read reviews before going into these places that don't appreciate good services.

I love everything about Macky’s !!! Every time when I’m in town my girl says “let’s go to Mackeys”… the food taste amazing and is always fresh and Evcashier that took my order has always been patient. They never rush me they make sure you get everything that you want.

Disappointed to walk in and their credit machine was down. It was in the cut so driving by if you don’t know where it is exactly you’d miss it..
Last night I ordered a dozen of female crabs and a dozen of males. Only 3 of them were good. They were horrible and light and a waste of money. Definitely not the same Mackey’s from years ago ! Never going back there again ?

I should have known that the crabs would be trash because when I walked up it stink really bad. I decided to finally give this place a try the crabs was to small they lie about the size they had no meat or mustard and they had a bad smell by far they are the worst crabs I had in my life I wouldn’t recommend a single soul to go to this place they didn’t even want to come to the phone after the sold me them funky crabs and I didn’t even want my money back I just wanted to let them know how bad the crabs are they sold me small crabs and said they where medium please keep ur money they salty they smell like something dead and they shouldn’t be taking people money this way

I have been trying to get food from this black owned business for almost a year. I tried three times and each time was unsuccessful. First time they stated they were closing early. The second time they stated they weren't taking any orders outside of crabs and told me to call next time. The third time I tried to call, but the number didn't work so I pulled up anyways... and they said they aren't cooking anything, but crabs again and said nothing is wrong with their phone. I called the phone in front of them and they said oh the roof guy may have messed up the lines. The roof guy said no he hasn't touched anything. I have a 100 black owned list I wanted to try before the end of summer... this one will be removed from my list because it is always something each time I waste gas to drive there smh

Each time I return home to Baltimore for a visit, I make it a point to stop by Mackey's crab house. Living in Florida for nearly two decades I sometimes miss those great memories of good ole steamed crabs and beer. On a work trip to Baltimore, I stopped by this location, and I have tried several things off of their extensive menu and have never been disappointed.
