We made reservations online in advance for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled by our experience! From the professional, friendly staff to the cozy, small bistro atmosphere down to the excellent food and cocktails - we really enjoyed our experience and will be back!

Another fantastic meal at Magdalena, and as always superb service. Everyone involved with this place seems to enjoy what they do and it shows and how they treat their customers I will come back here again and again

Went for our 15 year anniversary, included it in the reservation and the server didn’t acknowledge it until we were leaving. Service was pretty inattentive. Drinks were pretty bad. Food was mid. The bread was good though?

The drinks and appetizers (scallops and duck leg) were really good, our favorite part of the entire meal. Our entrees were a huge letdown. The burger was ordered medium and came out to be more well done than medium. The rockfish was also well done and very dry. Our baby wanted bread and that was an extra $8 for 4 small pieces of bread. This place used to be my favorite restaurant in Baltimore, definitely not anymore after our experience on 3/22.

Fantastic venue. Food was great and beautifully presented. Drink menu was unique. A series of drinks tied to female artists. Really enjoyed it. Desserts were great and just the right size. Service was great starting with arrival at outside door. They have a beautiful courtyard but it was too cold. Would love to go back and sit in the courtyard.

My son lives in Baltimore and I visit from out of state, regularly. Looking for a restaurant in his area that we never tried, I found Magdelena online. The restaurant is phenomenal. Food, atmosphere and service is top notch, truly a five star experience. The staff is attentive, personable and professional. A special shout out to our server, Andrew. Our first time here but certainly will not be the last, looking forward to my next visit!

The food was delicious! *chef kiss* We had exceptional service from the time we arrived at complementary valet until the bill was paid. Everyone was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The staff provided exceptional service! We will definitely return for another dinner experience.

I had a reservation for 2 at Magdalena for Feb 22nd at 6:30pm. We had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that the specific menu item I wanted and made the reservation for was no longer available. I desperately wanted to try the shawarma braised lamb, with black garlic hummus, saffron couscous, herb salad, and house made naan. I understand and appreciate the menu is highly seasonal. Can the menu here be corrected to avoid any future disappointment?

Amazing place for a fine dining experience. We began the night greeted by an amazing and friendly hostess and Valet service. Our server Max was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable! The food was delectable and next level!

The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great. However, the food fell short of expectations. My fish came undercooked and I ate about the half of it before realizing. This is partially my fault as I had noted that it was strange that a white fish wasn’t flaking easily, and I don’t have an issue eating raw fish— but had thought that was potentially a culinary choice by the chef. It wasn’t until I got to the middle that I realized it was not a culinary choice because it tasted awful. I then flagged the waiter and he confirmed it was undercooked. They took it back and cooked it more, and tasting it again had a drastic difference, as it tasted great. However, I was upset that the dish was not prepared properly from the getgo. My partner liked his steak and the mushroom tartine was good. We did not received a comp on the fish but we paid without a fuss. Due to the service and quality of the other food we would potentially give it another try, but unfortunately I was disappointed by Magdalena.

We chose this place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and from the moment we parked in front of the establishment we were taken care of very well adding to our special evening. Everyone was both professional and friendly. We are truly grateful

My husband loved everything he ate, considered it one of the best meals he's had- the scallops crudo and rockfish specifically. I was about 8 months pregnant and unfortunately had to avoid a lot of the menu- mostly just because it's a pretty pared down menu. I ate the focaccia and green garlic butter, and it was like the best thing I'd ever eaten. The "gem lettuces" was a real fancy little caesar salad dish, and the potato soup was just okay, in my opinion. The desserts were yummy, and my husband loved the whiskey selection. Service was lovely, and the execution of all the dishes was really nice. Things were just really pricey for not being as wildly impressed as I wanted to. Definitely a classy place!
