This visit was particularly outstanding. From the moment we walked in, Gavin and everyone else we spoke to were lovely. We had the special and from beginning to end, the meal was phenomenal. I had the mocktail called Absolute Zero and it was amazing, much better than the regular mocktails. Thanks for a great evening!
We ate there twice while staying at the Ivy hotel, which itself is outstanding. There are three rooms. Decor is a subdued neutral palate, brick walls painted white throughout and very cozy. All staff were pleasant and attentive. I had the Winter Salad and the salmon on both occasions. Salad is large. Both excellent. Partner had the beet salad and lamb first night. Afternoon Tea at Magdalena was magnificent. Unique extras like a side salad and mini quiche with the typically expected, tea sandwiches and miniature dessert treats was not only welcome, but delightfully tantalized one's taste buds.
