We were celebrating our anniversary at Magdalena‘s. We had a wonderful dinner, great service and romantic setting. The bread was amazing with the honey butter. We each had a salad that was fantastic with fresh ingredients. I had the crispy chicken for dinner and my husband had the Red snapper. They were both prepared wonderful. Our side dish was the roasted broccoli. That was great. we finished the night with the peach corn bread, dessert it was fantastic. We will return soon.
We had a wonderful dinner at Magdalena at The Ivy. Spectacular. Vies with Charleston for title of best restaurant in Baltimore. Plates are intelligently conceived and perfectly executed, with creative and unexpected combinations—cheese dumplings with lamb bacon, clams, and squash; roasted sour cherries with fennel sabayon. Bartender is a wizard with cocktails. And the space is lovely—cozy but upscale interior and a nice courtyard with birds flirting from bushes to a small fountain.
