Maillard’s pastries are better than the ones I’ve had in Europe. Seriously the best, hands down.
The miniature tarts are amazing, and so are the chocolate almond croissants!

Slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite spots and definitely worth the short drive from Charles Village/Remington. Not only am I always greeted by the lovely staff but I'm never disappointed with what I purchase hence why I usually get two pastries --one savory and one sweet.
Speaking of pastries, not enough bakeries offer savory ones, or if they do, they're only available on occasion. Maillard never fails to satisfy both sides of my palette, and frequently updates their menu/availability on Instagram.
Seating is limited because the space is so tiny. However, there's seating available outside and the neighborhood is perfect for a stroll while enjoying your pastry.
And, of course, there's coffee. ❤️
All of this is to say if you're interested in delicious baked goods, go through the yellow door on Chestnut in Hampden.

We went in at about 10 am , there was one person ahead of us. When I tell you as soon as I placed our order an influx of people walked in. We tried several items which were all delish . My favs are Chocolate Chip Cookies and Coffee Cake Muffin .

It’s a cute bakery shop with a table and couple of chairs but tbh I wasn’t blown away by the rhubarb scone I got. There were definitely rhubarb pieces in it but overall the scone was ordinary. Think scone from Panera.
I tried a piece of chocolate croissant that my friend and that was better. So maybe get croissants from here over scones?

Maillard is the best pastry shop in baltimore hands down!!! They have a beautiful and inviting shop, their staff is fantastic! What got me initially interested were those freaking everything croissants but have since fallen in love with the lox sandwich. If you appreciate top notch pastries this is it 🎯

So glad Maillard opened their second location in Hamilton. Fabulous bakery. Their croissants are the best in Baltimore, but even so I love to try their different pastries and cakes. Everything we have tried is delicious. Around the holidays they do macrons and they are the best I have had this side of the pond. Service is excellent.

Got a Boston cream donut and it barely had any filling probably close to nothing. The donut was kinda warm so the chocolate was already melting. I also ordered a jam a cheese croissant and they didn’t even bother with warmed up the sandwich. Pastry was dry and sandwich cold. Not coming back.
Cozy spot with awesome pastries. The almond croissant is unbelievable.

They are really awesome if you live in the area, but very often sold out and it’s impossible to call to see what’s in stock. I’ve been burned a few times lately making special trips only to find things no longer available, which is good for them.
