We've dined at Maximon's numerous times and it's always been so nice. Beautiful bar, dining room and outdoor space (when outside the winter months). The menu was updated recently; my wife and I like the changes. The food is creative and beautifully presented. Maximon's has a very good list of tequilas, mezcals, cocktails. Edwin served us well. He was energetic, personable and responsive. I started with Patron neat and my wife enjoyed a smoky-spicy margarita. For appetizers we had a very tasty yellowtail ceviche with an abundance of succulent fish and yellow corn. We also had the chili-spiced raw oysters on the half shell. The manager then generously awarded us a second half-dozen on the house. For entrees, we each devoured two tacos: roasted pork al pastor with pineapple and guacamole; and octopus with avocado, slaw, micro cilantro. The corn tortillas here are the absolute best! All in all, this was another winner at Maximon's. We'll be back.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. Great Music: The background live band was spot on upbeat enough to create a lively energy, but at the perfect volume to still enjoy a conversation. One of the best perks was the convenient parking nearby, which made the whole evening effortless from start to finish. Lastly, the food was amazing.

Not a great experience. The menu has been reduced and changed over time, and is too specialized with unique flavors. The service is phenom but it can't make the food taste good.

Food was decent—bit over priced for tacos. Queso was a too thick for my personal liking. Rock fish was cooked well, could use a bit more flavors. Churro was highly disappointing. It was very dry and bland…I would recommend avoiding this desert. The restaurant is designed well, but the environment was uncomfortably loud.

Service was off the charts. Made me realize what is missing at other restaurants. Our waiter was amazing, just perfectly attentive and helpful. We loved how the rest of the staff checked in with us as well, in a helpful way. Food was incredible. While the menu is expensive, it is reasonable when compared to other similar places. We will be back.

A very divine experience! Ambience, service, food, and live music was absolutely delightful!

My husband and I came here for dinner and while we really enjoyed our meal, our server was subpar. He chose to ignore many of our requests while servicing other tables consistently. While we did notice other great servers, unfortunately ours was not one.

What an amazing way to bring in the new year! Great ambience and service (though my husband and I were not fans of our initial seating arrangement (by the kitchen entrance). Our server was attentive and professional. Had the spicy margarita (even one was on the house after I told them I was a teacher). Appetizers were the crab fritters and quesadilla with steak. Delicious. Entrees were the roasted chicken and Wagy steak. Highly recommend!

Every item was perfection, from the ceviche appetizer, to the rockfish entree (chef's kiss)! Can't wait for our next visit.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was exemplary. I was seated by the window and even though it was cold it was a beautiful view. The waygu was phenomenal. The garnish was absolutely delightful. The dessert was scrumptious.

Took one hour to get our drinks. Our server was very nice and apologetic, but given the wait, you would think something would have been taken off the bill. Very expensive and the food was just average. Disappointing.

for the price it was the most disappointing food me and my colleague had all year. barring the price the food was mediocre, absolutely nothing that hit the spot. ceviche was mostly sweet potato cosplaying as part of ceviche. their guac has pomegranate and grapes in it. the tacos were ridiculously sad even if they didnt cost 12 and 20 each. yes a single asada taco was $20 hahaha..

It was good but not amazing for the price. All of the food was seasoned very well and the mixed drinks were as expected at a higher class restaurant. If you know your taquillas they have a massive collection. I was just less impressed with the waygu steak. It was blue rare (ordered medium rare) which isn't a big deal for me but could be for others. I just don't like paying 65$ for a steak with no sides when I could make it better myself for a fraction of the price.
That being said all of the food was good just not 300$ for two people good.

Food quality was ok and service was pretty weak. Had to wait for spoons forks and also the server a lot of times. Place was not packed so was surprised by the service. Over priced for the service quality and food
