We've dined at Maximon's numerous times and it's always been so nice. Beautiful bar, dining room and outdoor space (when outside the winter months). The menu was updated recently; my wife and I like the changes. The food is creative and beautifully presented. Maximon's has a very good list of tequilas, mezcals, cocktails. Edwin served us well. He was energetic, personable and responsive. I started with Patron neat and my wife enjoyed a smoky-spicy margarita....
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. Great Music: The background live band was spot on upbeat enough to create a lively energy, but at the perfect volume to still enjoy a conversation. One of the best perks was the convenient parking nearby, which made the whole evening effortless from start to finish. Lastly, the food was amazing.
Food was decent—bit over priced for tacos. Queso was a too thick for my personal liking. Rock fish was cooked well, could use a bit more flavors. Churro was highly disappointing. It was very dry and bland…I would recommend avoiding this desert. The restaurant is designed well, but the environment was uncomfortably loud.
