“My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“

I had to go to a restaurant that had halal food, which was about 40 minutes away from the beautiful restaurant. I had to go, I finally got there. The food they served me was delicious, but. Gentleman in the suit at the host stand with the grimace, was a little off putting but Bong reined it in with genuine hospitality. The galaktoboureko dessert, I would love to try freshly made as this one was reheated so the custard broke and the pastry was soggy. Baklava was sweet, flaky and served with ice cream. “I’ve been eating food from here since they opened and it was the best Pakistani style food I’ve ever had. For some reason they changed the (chickpeas) Chana masala and the Tika Masala sauce. It was perfect before please change it back I don’t like this as much!
