While visiting a friend in Federal Hill, we grabbed lunch at Mi & Yu Noodle Bar. After glancing at the menu on the wall, we ordered at the counter and sat at a table. My friends enjoy the Ja Jang Ramen with Roast Duck Carnitas and Noodle Bowl with 5 Spiced BBQ Pork Belly and Ramen Noodles in a Spicy Miso Broth. I enjoyed a Noodle Bowl with Roast Duck Carnitas and Pho Noodles in a Savory Filipino Adobo Duck Broth. The duck was tender and the broth was flavorful. I liked how the noodle bowls could be customizable via protein, noodle, and broth type. I also liked how the noodle bowls were topped with a soft-boiled egg and korean radish slaw.

I walked from my hotel in downtown to this very cute little Ramen spot and it was worth it. Our first impression is that it was small. Definitely looks like the restaurant fills up fast if you’re trying to dine in. You order at the counter and the gentlemen was courteous. It took no time to come out and he brought it to the table. They had some sauces to add in but it needed nothing. The bao buns were also very delicious. We very much enjoyed our dining experience and hope to come back next time we are in Baltimore.

Great food, great portions! Recently tried this place for the first time and I was very happy with my pork belly ramen!

Mi & Yu isn't your typical ramen. There are different spins on the broth and the proteins. Broth is the basis for a good soup, and these are far more flavorful than your typical shio, miso, tonkatsu, or shoyu ramen soup bases. My absolute favorite here is the spicy sambal duck broth. Most of my family loves the soy-miso beef, which is very flavorful, but can sometimes be a bit on the dry side. That's a bit inexplicable, considering it's braised in the liquid which becomes their beef dashi broth. I typically get 5-spice pork belly, which is a good mix of pork, fat, and flavor. The protein portion sizes have been consistently decent for a couple of years now, which was a nice change from my initial foray.UPDATE: We decided to have one last meal at this Mi & Yu before it closes. The ramen bowls were excellent, as always. I'd love to know how to make the spicy sambal duck broth. I'm going to miss it when they close; the Hampden location is too far away to frequent regularly.

The menu is pretty customizable with vegetarian and vegan options. The food took a while to be delivered to our table but everything was made fresh. A little pricey but certainly worth it.

Small location, but it's all about the food. Best noodle bowls in the city. The bat like option gives you so many combinations. Other food items are also incredibly delicious. It's my favorite spot to get food in Federal Hill or in general. 10/10 would recommend.

INCREDIBLE Korean fried chicken and duck fat fries! I have celiac and the staff was extremely helpful with helping me know what was safe for me. The space is a bit small, so not good for large groups, but the food is AMAZING.Dietary restrictions: Celiac--very knowledgable about gluten free options. HUGE highlight: Gluten free fried chicken!

SOOOO good! My bosses have treated me twice now to ramen from here for lunch, and both times it was amazing. The spicy miso wasn't spicy at all (I am a spice wimp, and was worried)--it just has a really great savory flavor. I can vouch that the soy miso beef and the pork belly are both incredibly delicious and tender. Both times I've gotten it, what I'm given easily makes two lunches for me, especially if you get extra noodles.Highly recommend, especially when the weather is super cold and you need something to warm you up!

This is a unique fast-food noodle restaurant with a focus on Korean style food, but also pan-Asian options. I think the Korean food here is the only stuff worth getting - the Korean fried chicken is good and the mazemen or jajangramen are much better than their regular ramen.I've had consistency issues here (sometimes its amazing and sometimes I wish I ordered Chinese takeout), but when its good, its really good.

I’ve only ever had the buns and fries before which are always amazing, but I tried the chicken sandwich tonight and it is definitely a contender for the top fried chicken sandwich in the city! So flavorful, juicy, crispy, what more could you want? Highly recommend

I've been coming here since 2017 with my friends from high-school. They have never failed to deliver great tasting and good quality ramen. I have tried their spicy miso (which is my favorite, btw) the spicy sambal duck, beef dashi and I will be trying their pho noodles out as well. The Baos are great, delicious and have a good sauce that accompanies them. Best ramen spot in baltimore for sure. Definitely worth the price and worth a visit.

The savory duck bao was amazing, but I wasn't too impressed with the noodle bowl I got (udon, fried tofu, beef dashi) - it just wasn't super flavorful. If I was in the area longer I'd definitely go back and try something else.
