If you have celiac disease, you can feel safe eating here. A manager will come and talk to you and communicate your allergies and concerns with a chef so you can get what you want. Im usually just concerned with gluten and tree nuts, but they will take anything you have into consideration. And the GF bread options for their sandwiches are awesome. AND and, the hash browns and grits are GF! That's rare.
This is a great spot. The food is delicious. Our server Greg was great and attentive - thanks for a wonderful meal.
Greg was very nice and checked on us often. Food good and filling!
I’m a 50 year old male who’s been all over the country. Best breakfast options…ANYWHERE. And I don’t care if you’re from the Deep South…Shirley’s has THE best grits I’ve ever had…ANYWHERE!
Great food and great service
I've known about Miss Shirley's Cafe for quite some time. As a New Jersey resident, I was in town for a funeral. My family arrived with over an hour available, before the beginning of the service. As such, I suggested Miss Shirley's for breakfast.
We met Sophia (our waitress) and she sprung into action. We had a great meal, impeccable service, and finished in time to make the service.
I will always patronize this restaurant while in town. And I thank you Sophia, amazing customer service!!!!!
Amazing food and service! I love this location. It’s so much easier to park than the other one and we didn’t have to wait. Granted, it was on a Tuesday midday, but still there was space for us. The manager and server were super nice. I can’t eat gluten and the manager came over to make sure he understood how severe my allergy was so he could tell the kitchen. It was very thoughtful and I appreciate it. They have a really well labeled menu in terms of allergens as well. Out of all of the gluten-free pancakes I’ve had in Baltimore, these are some of the best! My friend got the cheese and tomato sandwich and really enjoyed it.

Miss Shirley's always makes you feel welcome. The staff and atmosphere are friendly and low key. The food is great and a little bit different--enough so that you want to come back and try something new. Their fried green tomatoes are rated Best in Maryland by Southern Living magazine.

So disappointing. The food seems to not be as good as it use to. They changed the Crab cake & fried green tomato eggs benedict dish for the worst. It's disappointing because that was my favorite dish.
