Went here for husband birthday dinner. Was hard to see menu. Bc so dark but atmosphere was great. Ordered wagyu, duck, truffle fries mac and cheese corn, oysters, and 2 drinks coup de grace and f75 cognac. 360.00. Had a great performance shown by pianist. Was slightly crampy.

My significant other and I took a friend visiting from out of town there on Jan. 1, 2025 and experienced horrendous food poisoning. We woke up during the night to violent upper and lower GI symptoms that occurred every hour for a period of about 8-10 hr. Our friend also stated he had sudden vomiting overnight. We think they wrapped up the food that had been sitting out all night for their NYE event the night previously, and served us some of those appetizers. We’ve never been so sick in our lives. Absolutely do NOT eat here! We previously went there two years ago for my birthday and the food was mediocre, but we enjoyed their performance, so when our friend chose the restaurant we agreed.

We went here for the first time and everything was excellent! The food, the service, and entertainment!
I highly recommend the duck crepe appetizer - it was so delicious and even my picky husband enjoyed it! And the standout entree was the steak au poivre - it was so seasoned and flavorful. And the servings in general were generous especially considering that it is a fancy restaurant.
And the entertainment was so fun! They had live music, and burlesque dancers! Also, I believe they only have this on Fridays and Saturdays.
Last comment - We thought the cocktails were a little weak in alcohol, although they were still tasty. That was the only recommendation, and everything else was wonderful!
Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options
Parking: Downtown Baltimore- either find paid street parking or a garage
Kid-friendliness: Not recommended - they have burlesque dancers and it's more of an adult atmosphere
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

It was a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday here! The host and servers checked in frequently and the food was excellent. The performer played quiet and romantic songs so it was a perfect night out on a week day. Highly recommend the dulce de leche crème brûlée!

Rude workforce. Horrible experience. Don’t waste an evening going to this overpriced, overhyped dump. Definitely a skip.

Had a fantastic time here for the a friends birthday dinner. The food was DELICIOUS and the atmosphere was sexy. The sea bass was perfection😋. So good … as well as the salad, Brussels sprouts which had cashew nuts on them but I liked it. I want to come back to try the steak. Their cocktails were delicious too. I had a drink I think was bishon chaton (I know I got that wrong 🤪) but it had tequila, strawberry & lime. Delicious. For dessert we had the pistachio crème brûlée which was different but a good taste. I don’t know if I’ll get it again but glad I tired it. Some of the entertainment was spicy some was very settle. The ladies did a great job with the crowd. We sat in the back so couldn’t see them well but saw enough. They also worked the room. Perfect for date night or just a group of friends. The customer service is also top notch. Will be back!
Delicious food, a unique experience, the place is very nice and the food flavors are so different but unique, my palate has never tasted anything like this and we enjoyed it a lot.

Made a reservation for 7:15 pm on a Saturday night for dinner to celebrate an anniversary. We had such a great time! Glad we made the reservation because after an hour or so the place started getting really busy. The performers were so fun and came through the audience and interacted with people. At times it was quite difficult to hear the servers or my husband but we worked through it. We had the table side beef tartare and oysters for an appetizer. So sweet of them to give us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. For our entrees we got the Cote de Bceuf (it was worth at least 2 big meals! Giving it a 9/10 because it was yummy but I can't say it was the most amazing steak I've ever had and it cost more than other more amazing steaks), brussel sprouts (amazing, I'll give it a 10/10), mushrooms (okay, 7/10), and I got the duck breast (delicious 10/10). For dessert we got chocolate moose and it came out as a cute little rectangular bar - Soo good, 10/10.

The food was excellent. I really enjoyed the Beverages options. I went a little over board with the that. I only thing I wish I didn’t miss was the live entertainment.
Vegetarian options: It’s mostly a meat lovers party.
Parking: There are plenty of garage spaces. There are very few street parking spots and you run the risk of getting your car broken into. Park in the garage, it’s safer.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are a few steps you have to take into consideration.

Service and ambiance were very nice. The food was solidly mediocre. For the price, there are lots of better options in Baltimore (especially for French food - the food at Monarque did not come close to the consistently delicious Petit Louis). The cauliflower au gratin was a cheesy, sloppy, watery mess. The French onion soup was blah. And the short rib "bourguignon" was tasty but dry, with only a few pretty dots of demi-glace that fell short of adding enough flavor. The chocolate mousse dessert was delicious, but that was the only stand out here. I'd recommend finding a better place to eat. For the money you'll spend here, you can eat amazing well at a lot of other Baltimore spots.
Absolutely so impressed with the service and food. Everything was delicious and just a wonderful experience.
Food was amazing!! I had duck my wife had steak. Everything was great including the sides (mashed potatoes 🤌🏽). The pianist is also a great touch.

Saturday evening dinner. Live jazz music was playing on stage - we were sitting at the back of the restaurant so it wasn't too loud so we enjoyed the ambiance. Karla our server was very helpful and thorough with helping us navigate the menu. Wines were excellent! Pinot Blanc is highly recommended for white wine. For appetizers, the salad lyonnaise was delicious. The French onion soup was almost a meal in itself! Short rib was so incredibly flavorful. Petit steak was tender and cooked perfectly. We ordered sides; crispy brussel sprouts and potato puree. If I had to give any criticism, it would be that the brussel sprouts were lukewarm. They were also served with cashews on top which was unusual, but honestly they were still very good. I wanted to eat dessert, but sadly I was just too full! I would definitely return!
Dietary restrictions: Very helpful; able to accommodate.
