Literally open every day. Delicious vegetarian items. Best take out Indian option in the area. Mulligatawny soup is superb.
Orders the veg curry which was clearly marked with just vegetables. Asked the server if it was vegan and he assured me it was. When dish arrived it had paneer in it. Waiter had no clue when I complained. Brought me back another dish without the paneer and claimed it was not cooked with it. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-07
The vegan menu is huge here. Some highlights for me are: The momos, chilli tofu, bhindi masala, tofu saag, and veg vindaloo.I love the amount of tofu dishes they have. This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the DMV. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-05
Solid Indian food open late. Beautiful art work throughout
Had lunch with colleagues and there wasn't a single complaint! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The mutter tofu was a 10/10 (at max spiciness). Niruta and the staff were accommodating, professional, and cool.

My third time here. The staff was incredible. We had a large party for my mom’s birthday and everything was perfect. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was! Fast, friendly, hospitable, and detail oriented. And of course the food was a 10/10!

Best Indian food in Baltimore! Been coming here for almost 10 years, and it’s great every time. The staff is so kind and the service good. Perfect for lunch or dinner, or takeout!

My family and I went last night, and it was great! The ambience was nice, medium lighting with some music in the background. The food was amazing, and the service was great as well. Definitely plan on coming back!

Restaurantji Recommends
Tried this on a Monday when Mt. Everest was closed and should have skipped Indian take out for that night. I always want local restaurants to succeed but this was the worst Indian food I have ever had. The butter chicken was dry strips of meat and was not a very creamy sauce, the saag paneer was ok but didn’t have much flavor, and the vegetable jhalfrezi was inedible and it seems like it was just a frozen bag of mixed vegetables and we asked for it be medium and it was almost sweet, no spice at all. I normally will give places a second chance but I don’t think I could do it and waste money again.

Amazing food and service. I had a minor issue, and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate me. I highly recommend!

Good food but really bad customer service. Our food was ready but they didn't even give us the plate. It was like they were ignoring. the girl brought the cheque when we were still eating. The other guy rushed in to take the cheque when we weren't even ready. We felt like they needed us to get out from there. When we left the place, the guy with the glasses didn't even say thank you. They all need to learn lessons about customer service because their service sucks. Dont get me wrong, food is good but really really bad service especially the guy with the glasses. I dont know why he was looking hella mad when other customers came in. He was greeting them but he had that look in the face like he didn't want them to be there. If you want to dine in, and you want great service, this isn't the place.

This restaurant has really great food. They have a large menu and many choices and the spice heat can be varied and modified to your liking. My friend started off with the glass of wine and we got both some dumplings and garlic naan to start with. She got the hot chicken curry dish. I wanted to try something new so I got the tandoori sampler platter and it was really good.
The garlic naan was some of the best naan that I have ever had and my tandoori platter was also delicious. I opted to have the rice pudding to finish off my meal and it was so good with the added cardamon on top.
I was surprised this restaurant was so empty on a Friday evening at dinner time. I will most definitely be back and highly recommend a visit to this wonderful Indian restaurant. I had made a reservation, but it doesn't seem like I actually needed one.
