I ordered takeout for lunch, and the food was not good at all. I LOVE Indian and Nepali food, and have eaten at many of the surrounding restaurants in Baltimore, but this was unfortunately my first and last time eating here. The veg momos were not fully cooked. The vegetables were hard, and the dough was chewy. The momo sauce was watered down and not flavorful. The vegetable samosa was also not fully cooked. There was no crunch at all; the pastry was soft and chewy and covered in a salty seasoning. The filling was good and flavorful though (if you just eat the filling and throw the pastry away). The dal soup was flavorful, but it was excessively buttery / greasy. I couldn't eat more than a few bites.

It was empty on a Sunday at 8 pm. I received Pappadam and chutney and a menu. I ordered Dosa Masala with chili and onions on the side. The dosa was tasty but not as thin, large, and crisp as I know dosa. I also enjoyed the complimentary onions and chili as well as the thick vegetable masala. I had to deduct a star for the smell of the restaurant that wasn't as fresh as I would have liked it and 1 star from the service because with only two guests and two waiters I wasn't prepared to wait for my check to arrive. Still 4 stars because I really like Indian food with a Nepalese twist.

The chicken momos in broth were delicious and brought me back to life after a long day! The atmosphere is perfect for when you are over stimulated and need a moment to yourself

Stopped in for lunch buffet and did not regret it! Immediately accommodated our party of six. The food at the buffet was hot and full of flavor. The servers took excellent care of us. Definitely going to come back!

- [ ] chicken 65 is okay, a little salty and dry
- [ ] basmati rice - is good and fluffy
- [ ] naan is good
- [ ] mint and chili sauce is needed
- [ ] saag paneer isn’t bad, needs more seasoning
- [ ] vegetable samosa is pretty good
- [ ] daal is okay
- [ ] tandoori chicken - is okay, a little under seasoned
- [ ] masala tea - pretty good, got the one with sugar
over all, i recommend to go for their buffet option and to keep your stomach empty, you’ll def get bang for your buck if you go for the protein options. (paid 18.08 on a Sunday afternoon)
Great lunch buffet, looking forward to coming back!

I’ve been coming to Nepali House & Restaurant since 2018, and it never fails to impress😌The food is always so delicious and authentic bringing the true taste of Nepal to the table. During our recent visit my mom and I were delighted to receive complementary tea ☕from one of the staff which made our experience even more special. The warm hospitality and incredible flavors keep us coming back. Thank you for being the best place to enjoy Nepali cuisine!

Whenever I visit my sister in Baltimore we eat here! There’s a good variety of vegetarian and non-veg options. One of my favorite parts is the chai- there’s unsweetened and sweetened options so you can adjust to your liking. It’s delicious! The atmosphere and music is calming and the employees are always friendly and kind. It’s also a great value of food for the price. Would recommend!

I think they must be under new management. I ordered aloo gobi and there was almost NO cauliflower in the dish. There WAS a tiny bit of shredded carrot, a mushy string bean, and a tiny piece of broccoli floret in there, which indicated to me that there are frozen vegetables somewhere in the kitchen, but there was literally almost zero cauliflower. It was all mushy, overcooked potatoes. The flavor was decent though. We ordered mustard greens, which were delicious, but instead of the usual full-sized container, we received a small container of the type that is generally used for garnish. This had previously been a main, and we were not informed of the change.
The chana masala was super salty. Overall quality has really slipped. We were very disappointed. We have been customers for years, but that's going to be our last visit.
