The beer is solid and the food is good (yes, a little on the pricey side), but where Nepenthe truly shines is the staff. Every server I’ve met has been friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. They’re the reason I find myself coming back at least once a week — the people here make every visit worth it.
Vegan burger and nacho fries, hits every time. So many options and rotating new choices. Everyone is nice, even the chefs coming out from the back! Fun spot for activities and watching games. Vegan NACHO CEESE. Ciders and drinks for my fellow GF people. Sometimes super busy.
Very cool place, huge variety of beer, cider, wine and cocktails. The food was awesome, loved the wings and the best fries ever. The server Joey was super attentive, gave excellent suggestions on food and drinks. BUT, the highlight of the evening was Joey's slam poetry. We were blown away by this wordsmith named Joey.
