Small quaint place.
I walk up to the cashier and a young man working the register is on his cell phone and out of his peripheral vision he sees that a customer has approached the cash register. Before looking up at me, he says "what's up" < Still looking down at his phone>. I then asked him to repeat what he just said, and he replied, "I said what's up??" With a more firm voice.
