I walk up to the cashier and a young man working the register is on his cell phone and out of his peripheral vision he sees that a customer has approached the cash register. Before looking up at me, he says "what's up" < Still looking down at his phone>. I then asked him to repeat what he just said, and he replied, "I said what's up??" With a more firm voice. I immediately asked him if that was typical of him to address customers like that and his response was, no one has cared but you. Without raising my voice, I firmly spoke back and I said don't ever speak to me like that again and next time that I come in here, you will speak to me with more respect. His response to that was
"NEVER".
"I am a 55-year-old man and don't appreciate being spoken to like I'm some teenager. Whoever is in charge of putting this young man at the cash register to greet potential customers has made an enormous error in judgment. Young man in his 20's, wore glasses and has a darkened black front tooth.
I’m sure this establishment would have a rating closer to 5.0 however with hospitality like this, it is unlikely to ever occur

In the quite area of Mt. Vernon dood is foos service is good and on time atmosphere is safe and chill... mix crowds of customers everyone is friendly....

Typically order a slice of pizza a few times a week for lunch. Today i added an order of fries and that seemingly was too much to handle.
I ordered 10 minutes in advance, waited 20 minutes. Pizza slice was in the warmer for 10 minutes, but the fries took forever. Ive been served cold pizza by these folks before, but I tolerated it. But waiting 30 minutes for a order fries was a bit much.
Needless to say i never got my food.
They got free money out of me, so for them. Depending on if I feel like charging back the card.
I got a Caesar salad and the dressing has something in it. Not eating. Wouldn’t order again.

Never on Sundays is a great neighborhood spot serving awesome cheese pizza slices to countless folks. They also do whole (pizza) pies, assorted pies and cakes, Greek menu items and other menu items. I've tried their Gyro wrap and roast beef club sandwiches and both were delicious. It's casual, come-as-you-are eat-in or take away dining as it should be. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. Definitely a solid choice!
