The cake was a work of art for my daughter’s graduation party. We felt badly about cutting it up into edible pieces! It was delicious and the talk of the party.
While on vacation we always love to visit local pastry shops. This place had the best apple Danish I have ever had. You could tell they made the apple filling from scratch and it wasn't that crappy stuff out of a can. The pastry itself was incredibly flaky and delicious.
My husband had a ham and cheese croissant and he was sad we didn't get more. Said it was absolutely incredible.
We got a couple other items but haven't tried them yet. I imagine they will be just as amazing as the others.
This place is fantastic!! I highly recommend going here. If I lived here I would go here every week.

I ordered an Egg Bacon Quiche and a few other sweets from this place. It was $10 and it was very tasty to be honest. Unfortunately, I do have to agree with the other reviews, saying that the service was not that great. There were two people there when I just randomly walked in a man and a woman, and they were riding in a conversation, and I waited for a little bit and then the woman finally said something to me after standing there for a bit, but the man for some reason had no intention on stopping the conversation, literally the entire time while I was ordering while she walked over to the register and rang me up. He would not stop talking to her for any reason and it was very weird and awkward to me so for that reason, it’s a zero on the service. I gave them a two for atmosphere because it honestly was no atmosphere other than the delicious pastries on display. They look very nice and if they taste anything like the items I’ve already had from here then I’m sure they’re very good too but because the service is not good I probably won’t be back.

There was a woman who was very unprofessional staffing the phone. Not only did she interrupt me, speak over me, then proceed to walk away in the middle of my question without warning, but she didn't leave me on hold. This let me hear all her complaints and chatter with her co-worker for 5 minutes while I waited for her to step back. She never did. When I tried to call again, I was sent straight to voicemail. It seems as if she is the only staff member showing these behaviors consistently from what I've gathered, and she is damaging the business' reputation singlehandedly.

Went here with my fiancé for a cake tasting for our wedding. Had a lovely time chatting with the manager and she gave us coffee to go with. We got to try 7 different cake flavors which were all delicious. The staff were very accommodating with our cake request and even suggested we could order a sheet cake to save money since we didn’t care about having a tiered cake. While we were there we saw lots of customers coming in and greeting the owner by name. Seems like a lovely community here! Have ordered from here before and definitely will again!

I didn’t want to make a review just based off of one impression so I’m making this after my second time here. I’ve tried both strawberry tart pastry and their macarons. I would say that their quality is about average and the service is lackluster at best. The macarons disappointed me more because they just didn’t taste that great, were expensive, and you couldn’t choose which ones you wanted (they come pre-packaged). If the food were better it would make up for the kinda bad service, but sadly it’s just overall a very underwhelming place.

I've patronized this business since 2018, especially for my birthday since they have slices of Fraisier cake. Recently, I went in to pick up a pre-paid order. There were 4 employees (1 male, 3 females) behind the counter and I was the only customer (on a Saturday, 15 minutes before closing). Not one of them greeted me or asked to help. I announced that I was there to pick up an order and still no one acknowledged me. I stepped back and just stood there waiting for 2-3 minutes while they busied themselves chatting, making boxes, taping labels, and preparing another order. I felt a very weird vibe especially when the male and 2 females actually looked directly at me and continued on as if I wasn't standing there. Finally, I was asked to be assisted and repeated that I was there to pick up an order.
She selected 2 items, boxed them and never once showed gratitude or warmth. I also noticed that there were 2 Sparrows flying around in the storefront display window in the connected storage building. That, plus the unprofessional and unpleasant reception was enough for me to leave the purchased items on a city bench instead of consuming. Patisserie Poupon will never get my money again.

I really love everything I get from this place, but I think people should be aware that they don't have any sort of automatic reminder system when you order something online ahead of time. I placed an order for one of their limited time items a month ago and forgot to pick it up (which is obviously my fault 😭). They didn't call to let me know about my mistake until after they had already closed and it's two days until they are open again, so there was no option for me to pick it up first thing in the morning. So, as a heads up, set a reminder on your phone when you order ahead!
