Pimlico Chinese Carry Out is a flavorful and good restaurant, with very good and delicious food. The spicy shrimp Egg Fu Young and the Shrimp Fried Rice are noted as being by far the best some have had, with flavorful color and large shrimp. The Shrimp fried yak is very good and earns five stars. Dishes like the shrimp yak and shrimp egg foo young are recommended with extra gravy and sauce.
However, experiences can vary. The Pimlico fried yak had over-cooked beef and just ok chicken, though the shrimp was great. The House yak was mid and not a lot of flavor. Portion sizes are great. The service is fast, with orders sometimes ready in less than ten minutes, but it is advised to call orders in. Sometimes orders come out with extra or incorrect items, as the person taking orders does not write them down.
The place brings back memories for longtime customers and is considered far better than some other local spots. It is a very hood spot, not for the faint of heart, but many go where the good food is.
