We have eaten here before. It's a truly beautiful restaurant, food is ok but the non service we receive was a major disappointment. Sorry to say it but never coming back again! Our server should go back to McDonalds

They were understaffed and not attentive as previous visits and the steaks were brought at the wrong temperatures and the fries were cold.

I celebrated my 35th here. A beautiful location- that is undeniable. I appreciated the $20 valet fee for dinner guests . In addition- the live music artist was excellent adding a nice vibe to a girls night out .

Outside of aesthetic, valet experience, and live music - the experience left a lot to be desired . The food was bland, lacking flavor, uniqueness, or stand out presentation. The cocktails were hit or miss. My margarita was underwhelming and I was not happy with their choice of tall glass, too much ice, and a paper straw.

For the class and the desired elegance - the restaurant missed the mark and is sadly bringing the value of the entire establishment down. There was no more than 10 people in the entire space at 8pm. There were fees at the end that were not to be expected and did not really demonstrate ‘ forthcoming service’ ( offering still or sparkled water for $8 without an option of tap, opening additional water without checking in or clarifying price per bottle , giving the table more bread which I assumed was typical for a restaurant of that caliber only to see a price at the end, etc. ) The price did not match the quality and honestly they should be ashamed. I am Hoping this place improves drastically.

If not , i’ll have to enjoy other beautiful aspects of the Sagamore outside of that restaurant unfortunately.

Rec Pier Chop House

A wonderful culinary experience in the gorgeous Pendry Hotel. This was my first visit to the Rec Pier Chop House. Started with a delicious Caesar salad, next amazing Roasted BranzinoTuscan Beans, Salmoriglio, cooked perfectly, we enjoyed a few sides of broccolini, asparagus, polenta (a first for me, and absolutely not my last) and potatoes   For desert, we shared sorbet, a fabulous chocolate wedge cake, and a taramsu. Every plate cooked to perfection, along with outstanding service in a stunning setting. The entire area of Baltimore is growing and adding a number of new restaurants.

Breakfast was terrible. Eggs are undercooked. Waffles are cold. Coffee is luke warm. Food took 40 mins to come out cold. Service is the worse my daughter ordered a latte 40 mins ago never came out. I have been wanting coffee for 20 mins server never came back. I'm still waiting for him while typing this review. I hear dinner is good but will never come back for breakfast.

I celebrated my birthday dinner here, and I was extremely happy thats i chose this restaurant. We were seated at a window table which provided such a pretty view, our waiter was extremely attentive and gracious in creating a great dining experience. He provided us with a wide range of recommendations from the menu and was attentive and patient. The food was phenomenal! I had the linguine fini and the 8 oz steak, both dishes were seasoned to perfection. To end the night oir waitor brought out a birthday dessert to share which really commemorated the occasion. My only critique is the food portion were a bit small but otherwise I will definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu!!

This restaurant is lovely. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It’s a great place for an event and/or have a pleasant time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone:)

The atmosphere here is amazing. It's a beautiful spot to go to. Even just sitting at the bar was nice. The drinks and food came out pretty quick, though it wasn't busy, but still that is a positive. My gripe - a 170 dollar tomahawk ordered medium came out well done with just the very center being medium well. When I say just the center, I mean about 90% of the steak was well done. It was dry... I do have to mention that this may just be my bad luck, as I seem to be cursed to always get overcooked steaks. Which is why I typically order rare so I get a medium rare to medium steak.

The bartender was very kind and took care of us with our foot order and the drinks were top notch. Shaken Espresso = Amazing. Old fashioned = Amazing. Hell even their water tasted better :)

They have a very nice lounge area where you can take the drinks and food to if you are looking to lounge.

I will be back for drinks and oysters....

The food in the atmosphere was great! We unfortunately just had issues with our reservation which they did rectify! & our server was by no means horrible but there was a table that got us in. They got their order taken before and their food got to the table before us we spent about $100 each so just for the cost we expected them to be a bit more attentive. Our server also had to leave towards the end of our service - not her fault - and the person that got assigned to handle us, came back once to get our dishes and never returned to us or check or anything. I had to walk up to the bar to get everything sorted. We definitely will be back again. We think it was just a bad night, but that's the reason for the amount of stars I put.

Hands down to Adam for making our date night an incredibly experience! We came from DC to have dinner at Rec Pir Chop House and he made our night unforgettable. Very knowledgeable and knows what to recommend and pair with cocktails. We'll definitely be back!!!

The food and drinks were ABSOLUTELY perfect! Our servers Damon and Meghan were an absolute delight. I would highly recommend Rec Pier.

Thanks so much the cooks and waitresses that made out experience amazing. This was a buck list restaurant for my girl friend and I wanted to make it perfect for our 2 year anniversary. The wine connoisseur really listened to what the occasion was for and what we're going to eat for the perfect wine pairing. He really knocked it out of the park. We both love his recommendation. And ALL the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere, low lighting, and love music (the musician was HITTIN every note) made the experience amazing. We will be back for sure!

Service was very slow even though at 7pm on a Saturday I'd guess no more than 20% of the tables were occupied. After ordering extra anchovies on a Caesar salad, it came with none because they were out of anchovies. Had I been told this I would have ordered a different salad. It was difficult to get pepper for our salads. My $70 NY strip was a thin $20 cut. A drink ordered half way through the dinner was never served. The food and service sadly do not match the lovely ambiance of the Rec Pier Chop House. Now we know why business was so slow on a Saturday Spring evening.
