The service and atmosphere were unmatched. Not only is the asthetic beautiful and the food perfectly presented and seasoned but our experience was truly elevated by our server, Damien. This has been the best service I have recieved in a very long time. The attention to detail and recommendations were spot on. This was our first time here and we were seated in front of the expansive open window. The espresso martini was smooth 5/5, the sheep milk ricotta (highly recommend) 5/5, scallops were perfectly seasoned 5/5. Damien went above and beyond to make our time memorable.

Horrible experience and 2 hours later...waited 2 hours for our food. Server never came back to our table to explain the excessive wait time, replenish our drinks or anything else. Food was nothing special, cold pasta, expensive steaks. I had a better tasting steak for half the cost. Final straw was the manager trying to explain the gratuity policy to a CFO...lol..please. Will not be returning...horrid excuse for a top tier restaurant.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and everyone’s meal was phenomenal. The linguini fini was the best pasta three of us have ever had! Every dish we ate was exceptional but special shout outs for the Caesar salad and ricotta. Our server Josh was so kind and gave us great recommendations. I would highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back!

Never got the chance to experience the food. Valet Service, while the man was nice and polite, refused me because a wedding was coming in today. While I understand his intensions, it shows that this place is poorly managed as they could not accommodate all guests. It should be noted that we had a reservation for my wife's birthday today. We arrived 3 min early. I then had to go park the car while my wife got us checked in. They refused to seat her and when I walked in no one was attending the front desk and the restaurant was nearly empty. We decided to go down the street to Pitango Bakery and Cafe which was great! I'm happy to say that we won't be coming back to Rec Pier Chop House! Thanks for Nothing!

This was an elite dining experience. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The ambiance, the food, and especially the service. We were seated right away and greeted by our waiter pretty much immediately. We ordered the Linguini Fini, Tomahawk, and creamed spinach. When I mean everything was amazing, the Linguini Fini might’ve stolen the show. Ben, our server, was extremely kind and attentive. Definitely ranking Rec Pier at the top of my list.

We visited for brunch while staying at the hotel. Such a disappointment for what we were paying to stay at the 5 star hotel this is housed in. The food took a long time to come out considering it was fairly empty. For $24 I was served liquid folded eggs instead of the soft scrambled eggs I ordered. The “rustic potatoes” were huge chunks of unseasoned baked potato lightly fried. The sausage was way too sweet and overcooked and the sourdough toast was very hard. My partner got the burger which was just very salty, the meat was dry but the bun etc was sopping wet. We ordered OJ which turned out to be $8 and was just Tropicana.
