The roasted potatoes are to die for. We had once piece of meat ordered medium rare that was served medium well, but the other three dishes (salmon, roasted chicken, strip steak) were delicious. The interior of this restaurant is so fun having been created in an old warehouse. The service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant!
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your establishment.
I had scheduled a business meeting with my clients and was informed upon arrival that our table was not yet ready, and that we would need to wait at the bar. After taking seats at the bar, we were abruptly told by the bartender to move and sit in the waiting area instead. At no point were we offered an explanation, and we were not given the opportunity to order drinks, despite our intention to do so.
Being rushed out of the bar area in this manner was unprofessional and embarrassing, especially in front of my clients. This experience fell well below the level of service I would expect, particularly during a business meeting.
I hope this matter is taken seriously, as it reflects poorly on customer service and hospitality.

Would definitely recommend for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion. The oysters, jumbo shrimp, steak with fries, and orecchiette were seasoned to perfection. The vibes were nice and our server was very attentive as well.

The Rec Pier Chop House is one of my favorite places in Baltimore for an elegant celebratory dinner. It manages to always feel like home when I visit, from their amazing food and artisanal mocktails, to the wonderful ambiance, to the great live music, to the always incredible attentiveness of their awesome staff. RPCH is a staple at Baltimore's Sagamore Pendry, and consistently provides dependably impeccable experiences and cuisine.

For as nice as the place looks , the food here sucks I hate to say. Served me a rare steak and way undercooked pasta and had regular table bread for $8 also the server never checked back. For the cost just go to the ruxton down the street.

Don’t order the flat iron. They don’t know how to butcher a flat iron steak. What they are are actually serving is a blade steak with the connective tissue through the center making almost the entire steak tough to chew instead of being tender like a fillet. The flavoring on the food was top notch. Most of the food, however was served at room temperature. I didn’t inquire, but this kitchen reads/feeds like one that doesn’t believe in heat lamps so your food is getting cold while waiting for the rest of the ticket to be finished. Not rushing back, but given that they do know how to cook, I would try again. Butchering and timing skills can be learned and improved upon.

We had Christmas dinner at the Rec Pier Chop House. Overall, it was pretty nice. The food was, for the most part, outstanding. We started with the "seasonal bread selection," which turned out to just be a small loaf of white bread, nothing special at all; it wasn't even that fresh. But our entrees were excellent. I had the branzino, and it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten. My husband had the spicy pasta, and it was very tasty. Dessert was a caramel/pear dish, and it was really good. Drinks were fine. I had some prosecco and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc that were okay. My husband really enjoyed his orangey beer. The ambiance is okay - the place is very dark and quite loud. Since it was Christmas, I wore a beautiful dress... but it was so dark, no one could see it. This restaurant is a little too expensive for what you get. Now that I tried Rec Pier Chop House, I don't feel compelled to return.
I had high hopes for the Chop House, but the food was a major letdown.
Steak: Ordered medium with Pittsburgh char. It came out rare. Sent it back, and it came back extremely well-done.
Pasta: Overcooked noodles and tasteless and watery pesto.
Chicken: The only decent dish of the night.
The disappointment continued the next morning with room service. The Huevos Rancheros and Fell's Point Omelet were both failures. For a fine dining price point, the kitchen execution is simply not there.

This is a beautiful restaurant in a great part of Baltimore. We've been several times and have always had a great time. We went this past Christmas day, and everything was great, as always, until we received our oyster appetizer. They were presented beautifully, but were less than 1" in size each. At $4/oyster that was outrageous, and I expect better from this restaurant. They should not have been sent out to us, or should have been $1 a piece.
Great food, great service and staff. Perfect vibe for any celebration or a date night!

Our server took our drink orders, but we did not receive our drinks until around 7:00 approximately 30 minutes later. The server never checked back in during this time. All guests were seated by 6:30, yet our food did not arrive until 7:55, and it had to be packaged to go. We had an 8:30 show to attend that was 15 minutes away, so we were unable to sit down and enjoy either our food or drinks due to the excessive delays. The server also never asked whether we were celebrating a special occasion, so there were no birthday acknowledgments or complimentary gestures. This experience completely ruined my birthday and negatively impacted the overall guest experience. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to poor service timing and lack of attentiveness.
Outstanding experience.... The vibe, food and atmosphere were outstanding, The waitress was good... her energy didn't quite match the vibe and the quality of the product. But overall i would definitely visit again. The Cannon Bar was a perfect nightcap.
Great meal, friendly staff, and the noise level was low enough that I could hear the person next to me. Overall a great win!
