If I could double the stars, I would, because The Cannon Room is *that* good in every regard. We started with drinks: a Rye for my husband and The Cannon Room's signature Rye in a Whiskey Sour for me. If only every bartender knew how to make a cocktail as perfect as this drink. This place is cool but not cool in the chic, modern, uptight sense. It's cool in the classic, timeless elegance sense of cool. It's the kind of place that is evocative of the prohibition and gilded era and the prices frankly reflect that. However the quality of the cocktails is pretty much unmatched so you do get what you pay for.
