Amazing, authentic Greek food. It surpassed expectations at a great price point.

The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, perfect noise level and nice Greek music in the back.

Pleasantly surprised with how good the food was, came in with moderate expectations and very pleased with the decision.

The Moussaka was delicious and the staff was super friendly!

Best Gyro I've ever had

That was the best gyro that I have ever had!! I have had a few. I mixed chicken and gyro meat, both had excellent flavor and tenderness. The tzatziki was fresh and tasty. Amazing!

We arrived yesterday and decided to try their lamb wrap. Big mistake, meat was thick and not cooked properly. We have had wraps before and this was the worst. Lamb is supposed to be shaved and have that Greek seasoning, this one did not. Their white sauce was liquid not thick like it should be . Waste of money. Very disappointed ☹️

I have walked by Samos so many times and always thought I need to try it. After a friend told me she goes there for lunch every day, I finally tried it and I’m so glad that I did! We each got the steak pita wrap and it was lovely! It was not too expensive and more than enough for a meal. The meat was so tender and seasoned beautifully. The staff were helpful and friendly. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow and try the Greek salad!

We went to Samos for dinner and was very happy with everything. The people working there are very nice, the restaurant was very clean, the service was prompt, and the food was EXCELLENT. We had the grilled octopus and lamb chops...melt in your mouth good. The dips were all really good too...we highly recommend Samos Greek Island Grill

Samos Greek Island Grill was a great find for Greek-style food. The interior was clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating, which made for a comfortable dining experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which is always a plus.

We ordered the Vegetarian Moussaka platter, which came with a side—we chose the Greek Fries. The Moussaka was like a Greek-style lasagna layered with eggplant, potato, and topped with creamy ricotta. It also came with four small slices of pita, which were nice to pair with the dish. We were a little skeptical at first (especially since there weren’t photos), but it turned out to be really satisfying.

The Greek Fries were a standout—crispy, seasoned well, and topped with feta that was incredibly smooth and flavorful, better than most I’ve had elsewhere. Highly recommend getting them as your side!

There are a lot of other options available, too—check out the attached menus for details and prices. I’d definitely come back to try more dishes. A great spot for casual Greek food that delivers more than you might expect.

Excellent! Walk up counter service. We easily could have shared a meal, large portion sizes. Food was fantastic!
ETA: I did NOT realize this until a couple weeks later when reviewing my receipts from our trip (husband paid), but for COUNTER service they charged 20% gratuity. Not cool at all!

Excellent food,handsome down the best Gyros in Baltimore, loaded with meat they definitely don't skimp. The roasted potatoes and baklava are also amazing. If you're looking for an authentic Gyro, do yourself a favor and try Samos.
