Have been to Samos a few times, and each visit we've only appreciated their food (and service) more and more, with the most recent visit a few days ago which prompted this review. To start with, the tzatziki, which was creamy and delicious with the fresh cucumber and pita slices. Also as a side their amazing roasted potatoes which were just the best. And as a main, the special cod pita wrap was fresh and just a perfect balance of flavors and textures, along with their grilled shrimp skewer platter, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It's such a pleasure returning to a local eatery that serves delicious well prepared and CONSISTENT food, thanks Samos!

I was told in a meeting that Samos is a go to spot. It was pretty bumping inside, filled tables, line, but everything was going by relatively quick including the food. Got 2 gyros, one lamb and one sliced gyro meat with some Greek fries. No complaints really. Just that the lamb was a little chewy, but I find that many restaurants don't fully know how to cook lamb. I would note that when it is busy it's hard to find a table and with that the tables don't really get cleaned up after each time it was used. Honestly it was really filling and kind of reminds me of big greek cafe. Will be back if I'm in the mood for Greek food!

I love Samos location in Canton always a nice vibe and food is excellent every time I eat there however this location at Henry Row is subpar at best. The vibe is low and the food is not as tasty as the location in Canton. I ordered the shrimp halloumi and my rice was sticky and bland. The shrimp were ok not bursting with flavor as I expected. Maybe they need better cooks .Parking: Parking is all over.
Samos makes traditional Greek Mediterranean food at a fair price point. I picked up takeout and found the chicken orzo soup to be one of the best dishes. The chicken pita was a bit overcooked & dried out. The sliced gyro was tasty but needed more than tomatoes & tsaziki sauce.

Greek Island is the only place for casual Greek food. The staff is great, but the food is the star of the show. Prices are excellent and the restaurant has always been clean. I really wish they would open one near me.

Yum yum yum! I had the small plate shrimp and had to lick my fingers it was so good. If they offer you the pepper sauce TAKE IT. I was about to sub it out for Tzatziki and glad she talked me out of it. I took the rest hope to dip some Naan in it!

Delicious food with generous proportions and good prices. Service is fast and friendly. Gyro is always a favorite, but also recommend the avgolemono soup. If you want to go all out, get the grilled lamb chops!
Excellent and very authentic Greek food. The octopus is highly recommended and reasonably priced.The reason I don’t give it five stars for atmosphere is the music. The place is not a dive bar. It is my opinion that such a wonderful restaurant should have higher quality folk/traditional Greek music.Parking: Adjacent to the restaurant.
