The online pictures really looked pretty appetizing, however, the food did not live up to the visual online photos. Burger, fries, omelette, biscuit, along with the dried old inedible home fries that were served, unfortunately were all dissatisfying at the highest possible level but very nice to-go bag.

I love the Delmarva area and am happy to get there even for a minute. I was flying through BWI with my daughter on an early flight. There was a two hour layover and we were both hungry. I knew where to go. I proceeded to the Silver Diner. Concourse B. It was around 8:30am and the place was not extremely busy. I told my daughter we would sit at the bar, although there are a few booths. Sitting at the bar brings a hidden secret. There are electrical outlets and both my daughter and I were able to charge our phones. The menu ranged from breakfast to burgers and seafood items were available. I was torn between the sliders, crab cakes and breakfast. The hotess gave me an option I couldnt refuse- a crab omlet. If you know me, french fries are a staple so that's what I ordered. My daughter had the carmel french toast with some sausage. The food came out in and was awesome. The omlet was bigger than I expected and came with my fries and a breakfast bisquit that was really great. There actually was crab meat in the omlet and I knew I was on the east coast. My daughter loved her breakfast and I loved mine. Service was awesome and not rushed. The hostess allowed us to eat slowly while we watched sports on TV abd charged our phones. I did forget that eating in airports is not cheap and adding seafood makes it a bit steeper. My omlet was about $26. (I'm not in Wisconsin anymore!) Please note: I was here earlier this year and forgot to give a review. I had the baby burgers (you get 4) and a beer. I wanted a milk shake but it wouldnt go with the beer. This place is great for all around food, drinks and desserts. It does off a bakery at the entry in case you want some plane snacks. I WILL RETURN.....

We went for Sunday brunch. We waited a long time for our food. When it arrived it was cold. We were told the biscuits were in the oven after asking about them 3 times in half hour, we never did get them. We had to stop the waitress to get coffee refills. She never stopped by to see if we needed anything. We will not be going back.

A nice quick lunch. Had the turkey club which was very good. Felt like I needed to get a shake given the old school diner feel, which was delicious - made with chocolate syrup which is always the best way to go. Service was quick and pleasant. Recommendation - if there’s a line, sit at the bar. No wait.

A little pricey, but that's to be expected for airport food lol. Server was sweet and bubbly and the food was AMAZING!

The Ruben sandwich was almost as good as my mother's. Bar service was good. Waitress made a bad visit to Baltimore much better. I hate airports but I will now show up early to visit this location.

I ordered a grilled cheese and soup. I was traveling alone It took 25 min to get. I took 3 bites and told the waitress Selena I was going to the bathroom but would be back. I paid so she did not think I was skipping out. She said my food was safe and would not let anyone touch it. I was gone 3 minutes maybe. I came back food was gone. 27 dollars down the drain. Will never eat here again.

We came here to get breakfast before our flight and sat at the bar. The bartender, Janelle, was all by herself and the place was swamped. She never missed a beat…she just kept going and going and all with a smile on her face! Taking orders, serving drinks and cleaning glasses and counters! She definitely needed a helper but she never stopped and never had an attitude towards the customers! Kudos to her!!

Tasty and filling breakfast tacos. I ordered the pancakes as well, but they accidentally gave me the regular pancakes instead of the vegan ones so I didn’t get to try them. I’d come back to try the pancakes if I ended up back in BWI. Updated from previous review on 2025-10-26

This particular Silver Diner CANNOT SERVE SHELLFISH ALLERGY CUSTOMERS. I made it CLEAR of my Severe Shellfish allergy and was assured it wasn't cooked with crab/ shrimp etc. I ended up ordering/ eating the bison rancheros breakfast with soft tortilla since the chips that come with it are cross contaminated. Ate the meal, drank half my tea then the sensations began, inner jaw & ear canal starts swelling. Had to give myself an epipen injection which didn't work & ended up going out via ambulance from the airport, more epinephrine, nausea meds, breathing treatments and a MISSED flight from BWI. I was by myself which made it scarier, other than the servers, managers, police, emt's, of course. I eat at other Silver Diners (National Harbor D.C, & Hampton Rds, VA) but it's CLEAR the BWI Airport one CANNOT handle allergy cases nor even followed up with any apologies nothing. I will be contacting corporate! I went through a bad medical experience, missed my connecting flight, hours at the hospital, had to pay for hotel lodging with no clothes as my bags went onto the next flight, had to run down airports to catch my bags, had to search rebook flight and go through the whole airport process again and rebook rental car. COST MY HUSBAND & I LOTS OF TIME, MONEY, LACK OF SLEEP, ETC to redo everything due to their CARELESSNESS And NOT A SINGLE WORD FROM SILVER DINER??!! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!
